== October == 1st Wed. Terrible wind. Alex & I went to town with our people. Elizabeth took sick at school & came down to Mrs Sills. 2nd Thur. Beautiful. Alex to mill. I washed. Mrs P Young here all afternoon. 3rd Fri. Beautiful. Alex ploughing in A.M. picked some apples in afternoon. I was over to Morrows. 4th Sat. Lovely. Elizabeth & I to Bath in A.M. Alex at Sills threshing. 5th Sun. Beautiful. We all went out to Millings with our people for dinner, in afternoon we went to Sniders to call. 6th Mon. Fine. I washed & made catsup. Alex started diging late potatoes. 7th Tue. Fine. I ironed. Our folk here in Eve. 8th Wed. Beautiful. Mabel, Mrs P Young & I went to Bath for a {?} meeting. 8th Thur. Grand. Elizabeth is home as Miss Curtis went to teachers convention. Alex up home filling silo. Elizabath & I were up part of the time.
