Sat Oct 14th clear and warm in the midle of the day cool this morning a frost last night. Duncan and I was helping Albert thrash the fore part of the day after noon husking corn. John finished drilling in whea wheat for us for this Season

Mon Oct 16th clear fore noon after noon cloudy and warm, the boys husking in the fore noon, after noon cutting up corn
Tue Oct 17th cloudy most of the day misting rain this fore noon. I and the boys ditching
Wed Oct 18th foggy this morning after noon clear, the boys and I working at the drain
Thu Oct 19th cloudy wind from the Noren North and qute cool we were husking corn this fore noon. Duncan makeing cider John drawing wood and pumpkins in the afternoon
Fri Oct 20th clear and pleasant in the after noon. a very Sharp frost last night the first to kill corn and pumpkin vines here this Season. the boys and I husking this fore noon they was away to Harts bee this after noon. I put the Ram withe the Ewes this fore noon.

Mon Oct 23rd cloudy and cool. I attended the funeral of Martha Tiffen this fore noon after noon husking corn. Duncan and John took the yong cattle over the river this morning the rest of the day husking
Tue Oct 24th clear part of the day, husking in the fore noon after noon Duncan and I helping John Snarey thrash John working at the corn
Mon Wed Oct 25th cloudy high wind from the South Duncan and I helping John Snarey finish thashing the fore part of the day latter part husking
Thu Oct 26th clear and cool. Anna and I went up to Florence this fore noon after noon husking the boys husking and drawing in corn.
Fri Oct 27th cloudy and moderate. John and I husking Duncan away
