Mon Jan 8th Snow in the fore noon. after noon clear. John & and I were Shelling corn and putting up a load of grain to get chopt
Tue Jan 9th clear and cool, pretty sharp this morning. I was butchering pigs for myself to day John. W. Snarey and Chester helping me. John took a load of grain to Florence to get chopt
Wed Jan 10th cloudy and quite cold. John went to Florence for the chop feed in the fore noon after I went to Thamesville with pork Sold it for $8.90c per cwt
Thu Jan 11th clear and not So cold. I went to Dresden took down a pig pig for David Merck
Fri Jan 12th cloudy not quite So cold was Sawing Stove wood
Sat Jan 13th cloudy Soft very high wind from the South West. Snow last night we wear Sawing wood part of the fore noon I and Lashbrook was makeing a Stand for the well at the School house this after noon
Sun Jan 14th cloudy part of the day and cool
Mon Jan 15th clear and cold. John and I was Sawing Stove wood

Tue Jan 16th clear part of the day and cold was cutting wood again to day
Wed Jan 17th a Soft Snow most of the day, not doing much to day attended the Sale of widow fr Farerdeaus.
Thu Jan 18th clear and pleasant. John and I Sawing Stove wood.
Fri Jan 19th cloudy and Soft, not very well to day not doing any thing William Clement and Wife was here last night they went away this fore noon.
Sat Jan 20th cloudy and soft rain in the after noon. we ware cleaning up some wheat and Shelling corn and prepreing a load for mill
Sun Jan 21st cloudy part of the day and very cold
Mon Jan 22ond clear and very cold the coldest day this year. the themomiter 10 deg below Zero. not doing anything to day but feed Stock and make fiers
Tue Jan 23th clear and cold, not doing any thing to day but feed the Stock
Wed Jan 24th clear part of the day and not quite so cold I was Splitting Stove wood in the Shed
Thu Jan 25th clear and pleasant. I was chopping wood. John getting the horses Shod.
