Tue May 8th cloudy, I was Spreading manure. John plowing the fied East of the house for corn
Wed May 9th cloudy thretened rain but little came. I was Spreading manure in the fore noon, after noon Sowing barley and grass Seed quite windy this evening
Thu May 10th cloudy and wet most part of the day. I was repairing the line fence between me and Bilton when I could for the rain John and And Anne went to Dresden
Fri May 11th clear part of the day and cool. this fore noon was picking up the old rotten pecies of rail where Whitker Bilton had moved the line fence. after noon was at the raising of a barn for Henry Lampman
Sat May 12th clear part of the day and cool I was repairing fence John was plowing
Sun May 13th clear part of the day and cool
Mon May 14th cloudy and wet. thunder Showers through the day. I was working in the Shop Shapening Saws part of the time. John was plowing when the rain would let him, the ground is getting very wet
Tue May 15th clear and cool, was Spitting rails on the river flats

Wed May 16th clear and cool. was Splitting rails in the fore noon after noon John and I was at the raising of Nelsons Barn Youngs Barn
Thu May 17th clear fore part of the day. cloudy this Evening looks as though we might have rain frosts the last three nights a Sharp one last night was repairing fence to day h Hugh Mead & Alice DeCuite was here last night and this fore noon. Anne went to Dresden to See Richard Tiffin he is very sick
Fri May 18th cloudy part of the day and thretened rain but not much came. the boy and I gettin out manure
Sat May 19th cloudy warm and pleasant, was Spreading manure this fore noon. After noon at the raising of John Young's barn. John was plowing for corn. Walter Sprading manure.
Sun May 20th cloudy and cool.
Mon May 21st a cold rain all day. Setting in the house most of the day
Tue May 22ond Snow this fore noon, rain all night the ground very wet I was Sawing up old rails in the wood Sead, part of the day
