Fri Aug 10th clear and pleasant, John and I finished drawing and Stacking wheat this fore noon. After noon we was helping Albert Boyington thras.
Sat Aug 11th clear and hot. Elias John and I helping Albert Boyington this fore noon finish his thrashing after noon. I commenced cutting peas John putting up hay. Elias mowing the fence corners
Sun Aug 12th clear fore part of the day and hot a thunder Shower in the Evening
Mon Aug 13th cloudy and cool. we was pulling peas to day.
Tue Aug 14th clear and pleasant we finished pulling peas. commenced drawing in peas I commence cutting oats
Wed Aug 15th clear the boys drawing in peas I was cradeling oats part of the time and part of the time helping mow away peas
Thu Aug 16th light clouds in the fore noon afer noon clear and hot. I was cradeling oats the boys away to a harvest dinner at Shetland Church
Fri Aug 17th clear and hot. I was cradeling oats the boys rakeing and binding oats

Sat Aug 18th cloudy hot and Sultry I was cradeling oats. the boys mowing fence corners and finished drawing in peas
Sun Aug 19th clear part of the day very hot
Mon Aug 20th cloudy fore part of the day. latter part clear, high wind from the west and hot. we was binding oats to day
Tue Aug 21st clear and hot. the boys drawing manure out of the pile and Spreading it on the pea Stuble. I was cradleing oats
Wed Aug 22ond clear and very hot the thermometer Stood at 90 deg in the Shade at 5 P.M. John & Elias drawing out manure I finished cradeling oats in the fore noon after noon commenced binding oats
Thu Aug 23rd clear and pleasant I was binding oats. the boys was drawing manure.
Fri Aug 24th clear and pleasant. I finished binding the oats. John & Elias was helping J.W. Snarey thrash the fore part of the day.
Sat Aug 25th clear and pleasant. we ware drawing in oats.
Sun Aug 26th clear and pleasant
Mon Aug 27th clear most of the day and pleasant. John and I helping William Law thrash Elias laid up with a boil.
