Thu Jun 14th clear and hot Jane Staggs and I finished the board fence on the Sides of the lane, John was plowing the little north east of the farm.

Fri Jun 15 clear and warm, the fore noon James Staggs & I was hanging two galtes after noon I planted the little field with corn John & Slaggs drawing rails out of the lane and fixing in fence. Settled with and paid Slaggs in full

Sat Jun 16th cloudy fore part of the day hot a heavey thunder Shower this Evening. I went over the river and gave the young cattle some salt this fore noon. I and the boys were cleaning the old rails out of the lane the rest of the day.

Sun Jun 17th cloudy and sultry very hot rain in the Evening

Mon Jun 18th cloudy thunder showers through the day the ground very wet, not doing {illegible} much cutting in a fiew thistles.

Tue Jun 19th cloudy thretened rain but noon came very high wind in the Evening was helping John.W.Snarey lay the foundation of his drive barn this fore noon after noon took the fat sheep to the brige bridge I sold to Belford

Thu Jun 28th cloudy most of the day, clean and hot this evening. heavey rain last, night the ground dreadful wet, went over the river and salted the young cattle this fore noon after noon rubing sprouts of pottatos

Fri Jun 29th clear and hot the boys and I was hoeing most of the day. the ground wery wet walter in the low places from Six to ten inces deep could ownly hoe on the high sand knowls

Mon Jul 9th clear and cool, a very pleasant day, John was mowing clover with the machien was cultivating corn part of the day part of the day hoeing Elias Hutcheson cornmenced work today he was mowing fence corners part of the day, and part of the time cultivating

Tue Jul 10th clear and warm. we was hoeing corn part of the fore noon. after noon working at the hay John finished cutting one of fields of clover this fore noon

Wed Jul 11 th clear and hot we wear working at the hay too day

Thu Jul 12th flying clouds but no rain until about half part four P.M. when we had a fine shower was drawing in hay until the rain came

Wed Feb 13th cloudy and soft. the Snow pretty much gone. I was helping to lay out old Mr Lampman this fore noon. he died this morning, after noon Splitting Stove wood very heavey rain last night and raining again to night
Thu Feb 14th cloudy high wind from the South west and cold rain the fore part of last night latter part Snow. this fore part of the day I was thrashing out peas. After noon Paulbearer for Old Mr Lampman

Wed Feb 20th flying clouds and cold raw winds took a load of pork to Dresden and Sold to John Green & Ira Simpson for Eight Dollars per hundred pounds Anne not So well to day.

Tue Feb 26th Soft Snow most of the day. I was makeing a pig trough this fore noon after noon John and I were drawing up wood
Wed Feb 27th Soft Snow most of the day, and dissagreeable. Bilton and went up to Guelp Guelph to John S. Armstrong's to day to buye a young Short horn.
Thu Feb 28th a dreadful cold blustring day. bargained this morning with Mr Armstrong for a young Bull and Started for home we took cars at Fergus the trains being behind time being Snow'd in, we was four hours coming from Fergus to Guelph being Stuck fast in the Snow got to Guelph at Six P.M didnt get away till eight Should have left at 6.10 got to London at 12 P.M.
Fridac Fri Feb 29th a dreadful cold day Saw people come into the Station this morning with their ears froze. Should have left London this morning at 640. but could not get away until near 11 got home about 3 P.M. fine Anne Still very Sick had hoped to find her much better all well other ways
