Croton September 1887 Mon Sept 5 th clear most of the day and hot. coudy this Evening. had my thrashing do done to day finished about f half past two had 26 bushels of rye 46 of wheal 407 470 of oats Tue Sept 6 th cloudy and thunder Showers. I, was cutting up corn when in was dry. and pileing up the rails that was under the Stacks. Walter was plowing Wed Sept 7 th clear and prety high wind, I was cutting up corn untill 3 P. M the wingl wind got So high I had to quit. Walter was plowing Thu Sept 8 th clear and pleasant quite cool this morning. I ditching along the line between William Law and me. Walter finished plowing the little field West of the new orchard Fri Sept 9 th cloudy and wet most of the day we were cleaneng up Seed wheat in the fore noon. after noon working on the ditch till rain came Croton September 1887 Sat Sept 10 th clear and pleasant. I was ditch-ing. Walter finished cutting up corn. Sun Sept 11 th clear part of the day and cool. cloudy in the Evening Mon Sept 12 th cloudy in the evening fore part of the day clear and hot. I was husking corn. Waler was harrowing the ground for drilling Tue Sept 13 th clear and very hot. Walter finished the little field below the new Orchard with wheat. I was huhing and carrying in corn. Wed Sept 14 th clear part of the day cool in the murning hot in the midle of the day. I was hiesking corn. Walter was harrowing Thu Sept 15 th cloudy part of the day little mist of rain once or h twice. we fin--ished Sowing wheat. I was husking part of the day.
