Bilton was while the shower last Sat Sept 16th cloudy, I got word that Brother John was dieing I went over and was ther all day he is very low but alive to night yet Sun Sept 17 rain Heavey all day. I Stayed all night with John and until eleven Oclock when Chester brought be home he was Sill alive but lyable to go any minute he is a great sufferer Mon Sept 18th clear and hot I was over to Brother Johns he died 25 minutes after 5 O Clock this after noon {MON SEPT 14TH JOHN W 1905 SNARY DIED} Tue Spt 19th Clear fore part of the day and hot 86 deg a thunder Shower in the evening Bilton and I went to Florence in the fore noon. after noon I husked corn Sarah came over this evening {second page} == Croton September 1905 == Wed Sept 20th clar and pleasant.
