Mon Aug 1 Clear most of the day and warm Billon and Joseph browder was here part of the day.

Tue Aug 2 clear and cool. Morning and evening Joseph Crowder was with me awhile this afternoon.

Wed Aug 3 clear and cool. I was watching dam Donald erecting wire fence for Ara Newcomb. I saw Anna Smith and had a little talk with her. She was going up to Florence to see old Mrs. Smith.

Thu Aug 4 clear and pleasant. Bilton called in Rose brought be a can of milk. I went to school and had a talk with Chapple.

Fri Aug 5 clear and hot 86 deg in the shade Sarah was here baking and cleaning house

Sat Aug 6 a hazy day and warm. Sarah brought me over a couple of loaves.

Sun Aug 7 clear and cool high wind from the south dust flying.

Mon Aug 8 clear and cool almost cold enough for a frost this morning Bilton called in.

Tue Aug 9 Clear and warm in the middle of the day, cool in the morning. Took a train over to {Lod?} no 5 and down the side road to to 11 Con then up the river and around home.

Wed aug 10th Showery. Willi called in this fore noon.

Thur Aug 11th cloudy part of the day. I got out a few strawberry plants. Bilton was here most of the fore noon.

Friday Aug 12th Clear part of the day and morning and Even cool . Sarah here bakeing and cleaning hours.

Sat Aug 13 cloudey with thunder showers. Seth Browell gave me a call. William {Hasper?} from New Oraka called in a few minutes this after noon and doing much myself.

Sun Aug 14Clear and pleaasent Mon Aug 15 Clear and warm. Bilton brought me a post office envelope.

Tue Aug 16th cloudy most of the day and warm . James Kelly {Bought?} a {peice?} of mutton.

Wed aug 17th clear and hot and I was down to the old home. Dick is makeing quite a change. Thu Aug 18 clear and pleasent. Waller called in this forenoon. Sarah came over and canned a few blackberries. I took up my {multiplier?} onions this after noon.

Fri Aug 19 cloudy and cool {commented?} to rain about 5 p.m. Sarah was over in the fore noon cleaning house.

Sat Aug 20th cloudy and warm, heavey rain last night. Bilton called in this fore noon, not doing much muself.

Sun Aug 21 clear warm and windy no preaching at our appartment there being {Divorterley?} meeting at florence.

Mon Aug 22 cloudy and wet. Bilton was in the {aloohile?}. Dick came a spell this afternoon. Praller was here cleaning out the grawny.

Tue Aug 23 Clear and pleasant I was cuting out the old berry bushes

Wed Aug 24 clear and please nnot doing much of anything today.

Thu aug 25th cloudy and thunder showers

Fri Aug 26th clear and cool. Sarah was this fore noon bakeing and cleaning house. I dug a few potatoes where I want to set strawberry.

Sat Aug 27 th clear and pleasant I set out a few strawberry plants.

Sun Aug 28th clear and pleasant. Mr Baker was our preacher today

Mon Aug 29 cloudy and cool. Elva Paul called this fore noon. Bilton was here this after noon.

Tue Aug 30 clear and cool morning and evening. Sarah was in a few minutes

Wed Aug 31, clear and cool. Bilton was most of the fore noon. James Williams called in this evening I was down to the blacksmitts shop.

Thu Sept 1st cloudy most of the day andd warm, I was cutting up a weeds.

Fri Sept 2 light clouds and hot. Sarah was here cleaning house and bakeing. A thunder shower this evening.

Sat Sept 3 Clear and pleasent, I sent away for the Globe Paper.

Sun Sept 4, clear and cool

Mon June 5th clear and cool. Sarah was here this forenoon. Bilton was in this after noon. Walter was thrashing and drawing his barley here this afternoon.

Tue Sept 6th clear and cool no calllers today

Wed Sept 7th clear most of the day and warm in the middle of the day. Cool morning and evening. Dick was here for timber to make a jug rack.

Thu Sept 8 cloudy most of the day and cool. A thunder shower last night and might rain this after noon. Bilton was here most of the fore noon.

Fri Sept 16th clear most of the day and warm. I finish'd diging my potatoes Sarah was here for part of the day

Tue Spt 20th thunder Showers in the fore noon after noon windy and cool. Old Onr One Me Rewen called in this after noon Sarah was in here a fiew minutes

Wed Sept 21st clear and cold a frost a last night. I had to keep on a fire all day

Thu Sept Sept 22ond clear and cold. a frost last nighh that killd corn potatoes beans and all tender truck. I had a tranip this after noon though Newcombs Tea Gregory s and Dick s. corn and beans are killd dead it Stinks bad

Fri Sept 23rd most of the day cloudy. Bilton was here most of the fore noon. I went over to brother John s to See Aunt Victoria She think she got her leg broke this after noon I came away before the Dr got there.

Wed Sept 28th fore noon clear.afternoon cloudy, I hooked fiew shocks of corn

Thu Sept 29th fore noon light clouds and warm a smart about one P.M

Fri Sept 30th clear high wind and cool Sarah was here cleaning house and bakeing. I pick a fiew apples

Fri Oct 7th clear and cool. I finishd husking my fit of corn. Sarah wew {hene} lakeing and cleaning house.

Wed Oct 12th cloudy and cool. I carrid some apples up stairs for winter. Sarah came over this after noon {illegible} made Saur Krat. there was an Auction Sale at John Mcbutcheron's old place to day I did'nt get to it Henry Snary from bhago he Said he had bene getting Married. I got a letter this morning from OVictoria

Thu Nov 3 clear and pleasant. They were holding the election for member of parliment to {beay?} at Ms. {Smtoshes} house.

Fri Nov 4 a few strekey clouds and mild wind from the east a {prosepect?} of a storm preSeth tty soon. Seth Browell called this evening for the preachers Salery money.

Sat Nov 5th cloudy and cool. Sprinling rain this evening. Sarah Was here this fore noon cleaning house and bakeing.

Sun Nov 6th cloudy and cool. No preaching at our church today {Quarerly?} meeting at Florence.

Mon Nov 7 Cloudy and cool. Hand frost last night. John Mc Buteheon called in this morning with a local option paper to get signed.

Tue Nov 8 clear part of the day and cold it froze the ground to hard to plow {28 deg} above zero at 9 am Dick was up this forenoon. William Sprole was trying to get signers for Books.

Wed Nov 9th clear most of the day and cool. Bilton was here this forenoon. George Nelson was in awhile. I was cleaning out my stove and pipe this after noon.

Thu Nov 10th clear and cool. Sarah was here cleaning house.
