G. $1 paid P.O.Box rent 38 cts 10 cts for lead pencils 18th I worked on Black job cut 18 letters on it got a draft for Jas. Hutcheon's $100 cost 15 cts received my old note paid {illegible} $1.10 on new one gave Mrs Cornett $10 I helped Billy about 2 hrs. has been a nice warm day. I have to night $47.32 cts Mrs Gauthier gave me 50 cts for 5 boxes she only at 4 yet. I gave John Leeder $10 {second page} 19th I laid inscriptions on Pierce & Halladay jobs helped Billy about an hour it rained a hard shower in in morn I went down gave Mr Reid 25 cts for sharpening some droves $1 for an I.O.O.F pin Jim & Frank were in we loaded Black job on Gonyou's waggon he left about three I gave him $5 I got ready left near five 10 cts for a lunch over took Ed at Washburn we fed went on to Inverary stoped over night there about ten was a nice day 20th We left about six I settled our Bill $1.25 I got a lunch 15 cts we feed twice got Parham about half past eight was a lovely cool day 21st got the monument up about noon Ed. left about one I gave him$5 he is to give Billy $2 to morrow I left after four got to Wesport about eight stoped at Mulvills Hotel was a nice day.
