March 31st wrote a letter to S. B. Norton ordering some bases one to John Gipson ordered three jobs from Jas. Hutcheon wrote G. H. Howard Mr Kenny said he would start day work to-day it rained some to-day Kenny said he would start day work to-day April 1st I wrote to Wm. H Bolton and Peter Purvis sent him some cuttlefish bone I took a lesson on crayon work to-night 6 cts for stamps gave J. Beaty was a cold day April 2nd Mrs Garrau paid rent to-day $5.00 was a cold day & night April 3rd Eddy Scott and I went out to a sale at Mrs John Seale & I got two forks 20 cts gave Mary $100 was a rain cold day April 4th I wrote a letter to Mr White at Gravenhurst giving him the price on a monument got a buggy from Eddy Scott to Mrs Gamble took out to J. Gamble stopped at A Browns sale run Joe Gainford he agreed to see me about a monument got home about half past seven was a was a cold day April 5th Was down to John Moulton's awhile this after-noon went to church in the eve 5 cts was a nice day April 6th went out to Mrs J Seals a mon and 1 set of posts $100.00 got back about 10 Oclock have to-day noon $8
