April 7th I took Eddys buggy went to Lansdowne then out to Pat Kennedy's had dinner called at Wm. Moulton's Jas. Redmonds Wes. Moore and Mrs Foley's got home about half past six was a nice day
April 8th I stayed around house all fore-noon wrote to Geo. Mitchell Mrs Rappell and Mrs Slack there was a sleet storm last night and to-day
April 9th I worked in shop wrote to Renford Dillon was a nice day
April 10th I drawed $10000 out of the bank went down paid $8.20 cts duty on marble and $8.99 cts freight 30 cts for a lb of butter Mary gave a dollar was a cold day
April 11th I got $600 check cashed that I got from W.H. Bolton of Portland paid in full for lettering a mon I paid Mr R McBroom $1.40 for a cwt of crushed corn and oats that I got yesterday got 10 lb of linseed 50 cts Geo. came up this after-noon I got a shoe set on horse Geo. took him and left his he went out to see Aunt Ann he lent me a $1.50 to-day I got a money order for Vermont Marble Co. $39.42 cts cost 15 cts sent it & a letter to Mary gave J. Leeder $10 went to 5 ct shoe have left to-night $104.34 was a cold windy day
