17th Wm Gibson was at shop trying to make a deal for the business to day I went down paid $31.65 cts duty on Granite drawed $50 out of bank to do it Mr Britton gave me 2 stamps & 1 P.C to make right change to-day have left to-night $20.67 cts 18th I got ready for Kingston met Bill Gibson at shop he is to let me know by saturday for sure about deal he went home this morn we both came out on the 8:20 train 95 cts for return ticket to Kingston I called on Mr Simpson had dinner 35 cts called on Mr K.F. Metcalf Miss O'Brien John Cousinau he paid me $300 on the six he owes me got a return ticket to Parham $1.95 left on the 5 O'Clock got out to Mrs Brown's
