6th I have this morn $1 spent 78 cts sent {rest of line is illegible} letter to {illegible} I got some footstones ready to-day Jack L. & I drove down to A Mr to see a horse was a nice day 7 Mr Kenny & I riged a think to cut stone under this after-noon we were about three hrs at it the canvas cost $1.92 Jim was here for dinner and Mr John R Bower it rained some to-day I gave Jim 25 cts to get some meat for dinner 8th I sent a card to Ephriam Churchill, Oliver Rowswell Mr Wm Salter paid his bill in full 5.00 40 cts for a broom 5 cts for peanuts
