Sun Apr 24. Fine bright and warm I went to morning church. then was going to Willies and met them on the way to R.Hill so rode home. Mary Watson and Iva Garruthers called. Aunt Mattie. Mrs Davidson and I at church. Mon Apr 25. Fine bright day. Auntie washed then blocleaned stove. pipes laura mafuer first time. I cut. Dr called. No fire Grease Chapman Tue Apr 26. Fine and warm. Aunt Mattie and I varnished Aunt N. room and touched up all upstairs. also Parlor. I went to party at Daisy Balls as there. we did not and a fire Wed Apr 27. Fine and quite warm. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto she called at 198 Jarvis St. Joe called in at 198. Sale there. Thur Apr 28. Fine and warm. Auntie. Annie and I called at Mr Seageas. Willies on land the first since. three weeks today. April 14. they have only seventeen acres in. started to rain in the night. Fri Apr 29. Raining steadily all day. Tom Seager buried. Willie called at door we lighted fire the first all week. Sat Apr 30. Raining heavily untill noon then cleared but dull and damp. roads very muddy. Annie here for tea. trees and blossoms coming on nicely. Sun May 1. Cold north wind and dull. started to come squawls about two. o'clock. then fair but cold. Aunt M. and I at church Mon May 2. Cool and dull with light showers. Took blue dress to M. to shorter sleeves Tue May 3. Fine but cool. but bright. Auntie varnished upstairs hall and oiled steps and front door. she and I for leeks. Aunt Mattie and I for a walk in eve.
