Fine and quite warm. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto. Showery with thunder in the evening. I went to Lenten Service. Mr McDonald poorly. Frogs out. Sat Apr. 8. Fine and quite mild. We got our {hats?} home from Miss {Barker?} after a little alteration. I called at Mr {Cox?} in the afternoon. We finished cleaning Chamber. Sun Apr. 9. Fine mild. Aunt Mattie and I at morning church. A {strange?} {illegible} {as?} Mr McDonald party. Mr Davidson and I for a walk in the afternoon, and at evening church. Annie called after church. Mon Apr. 10. Fine and very warm. high wind. We washed and Auntie helped Mr Davidson with {featherbed?} pillows. Cleaned West Shed. Tues Apr. 11. A terrific East rain storm. most of the night and poured until noon. Very high water. some in east side of our Cellar. We cleaned all silver and washed china in Parlor and {Diner?}. Wed Apr. 12. Rained last night then cleared and colder. Aunt Mattie and I at {illegible} Aid Concert. "Old time {quitting?} {illegible} Thur Apr. 13. Fine and quite cool.
