Sun Jan 1 Fine bright and quite cold. We partly {evaded?} geese Mrs Davidson and that evening church. She and I for a walk in the afternoon.

Mon Jan 2. Fine bright, and very cold. {illegible} {illegible} and {illegible} {illegible} all-day. Willie, {Ross?} and {Mathew?} all here for dinner. Willie and Mary for tea. I went to the New Years entertainment in WE.

Tue Jan 3. Fine bright and a little warmer, a little snow then clear and milder. Annie called.

Wed Jan 4. Milder and snowing, then started to rain in the afternoon {illegible} all {wet?}, then during the night turned mild and {tamed?} again. I {galled?} at Mrs. {illegible name} in the afternoon we {washed?}.

Thur Jan 5. A string South West wind and very slippery I called at Mrs Ball to see {illegible} supper for {chow?} tomorrow night the ice is dreadful.

Fri Jan 6. Fine and quite cold. The combined choice of the {illegible} {at?} {illegible} {over?} {a?} {hundred?} had tea at Mrs Ball. There is {illegible} {on?} the hill {illegible} {illegible} {slipping} as {illegible} {sheet?} was dangerous.

Sat Jan 7. Fine and bright. Aunt Mattie and I in {illegible} I was at {the?} Cambells. "{illegible}" -an {ideal?} day.

Sun Jan 8. Fine day. Moderately cold. Aunt Mattie and I in {illegible} at morning church, an ideal day. I went to evening church.

Mon Jan 9. Fine bright and quite cold. Beautiful weather.

Tue Jan 10. Fine bright and moderately cold. {Auntie?} and I called at M. Chapmans in the evening. Margaret {Barks?} died

Wed Jan 11. FIne but {frosty?} East wind. John Cook called for Church and to tell us of Margarets death.

Thur Jan 12. Fine and quite cold but bright. Aunt Mattie and I wnet to Toronto to see Margarets {illegible}. {illegible}.

Fri Jan 13. Fine and milder. Willie and I up to the grave yard to meet the funeral.

Sat Jan 14. Fine but a very cold wind {illegible} quite {illegible} but a little ice Willie called {sign?} a {paper?}. I went to meet {illegible} got three pounds of sausage. 10 cents a pound.

Sun Jan 15. Fine but very high wind. did not go to morning Church. This month has been wonderful weather -no storm or snow here of any account. Mrs Davidson and I at evening Church. Very frosty.

Mon Jan 16. Fine bright and a little milder. We did not {illegible}.

Tue Jan 17. Fine and not so frosty. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto she got her watch. a new {watch manufacturer?} {150?} I let my {illegible} of {mathew?}.

Thur Jan 19. A very strong West wind but not very cold. I walked to Willies but found wind bad.

Fri Jan 20. Fine bright but cold. I was at {tea?} at {illegible name} {Howards?}. then went to R. H. H. S. {commencement?} with Annie.

Sat Jan 21. Fine and bright after a fall of light snow last night. I was Mrs Smellies for tea. Mrs Breaky and {illegible name} called. {Mr?} Davidson and I at Hockey Match. J. H. {S?}. {illegible text written above} and {illegible} {illegible} {illegible}. {Many?} {without?}.

Sun Jan 29. Fine bright and moderately cold. Aunt Mattie and I at morning Church. Willie also. Annie and I for a walk in the afternoon. Auntie {miss?} D and I at {eve?} ch.

Mon Jan 30. Fine bright day. I walked to Margerie they came here {'sausage' written above} {but?}

Tue Jan 31. Fine day we have had ideal weather for two weeks.

Wed Feb 1. A heavy fog and damp East wind I walked to Willie {illegible} a {message?} then went late to W. A. meeting at {Mrs?} {illegible name}. {illegible} Hockey Match I did not go. rained heavily in evening and nearly all night. {hens?} laying fairly well.

Thur Feb 2. Bright sun at {first?} and very icy after the rain {illegible name} would see his {illegible}. Aunt M. and W. and I at {Mr?} {illegible name}. I went to Frank {illegible} lecture.

Fri Feb 3. Fine and colder. very high wind. and icy.

Sat Feb 4. A few light snow {illegible} making {illegible} on the ice, I was at Annies Recital. Annie and Elizabeth here in the evening.

Sun Feb 5. Fine and moderately cold. Auntie and I also Willie and I. at church. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk. then Aunt Mattie, Mrs D. and I, at evening church.

Mon Feb 6. A fine bright day. {illegible name} here and stayed tea. Miss Edey called in the eve. Mr David {Auntie?} called at Ms {Findlays?}. his sisters {illegible} {illegible} there. Mrs {illegible name} sick.

Wed Feb 8. Fine and moderately cold. Aunt Mattie at Prayer meeting. I went to Mr Fees to Lake {illegible} for the "Shower". Annie and {illegible} {illegible} with me

Thur Feb 9. Fine and mild. Aunt Mattie and I at {Mattie?} {St. Claire?} for Church. then in the evening I went to the "Shower" at Mr Fees.

Fri Feb 10. A heavy fog and East wind all day. I went to a party at Annie Hallls in the evening.

Sat Feb 11. Fine and very mild. made water {illegible} and then turned suddenly cold in afternoon. I brought Margaret {Carleton?} home for dinner.

Sun Feb 12 A very cold East wind rather slippery again have had a good deal of ice all winter. I went to morning Church. Annie called in the eve. I went to the Methodist Church as it was very {strong?} for a short time.

Mon Feb 13. Fine and cold but not much snow. We washed.

Tue Feb 14. St Valentines day. Fine and cold.

Wed Feb 15. Fine and cold. I have a cold and Auntie not too well.

Thur Feb 16. Fine bright and very cold. West wind. Coldest this {left of margin} 12 below zero {right of margin, above} Richmond Hill 16 below. it was about 12 below {on line} year 1922. I went up to see Helen Willshine married at 6:30. A big hockey Match. R.H. defeated {over?} boys. I did not go so extremely cold. we went in to sit with Mr Davidson for a while. I have a cold.

Fri Feb 17. Fine but very cold. Putting some {illegible} on this {illegible}. Below zero but not as cold as yesterday. {illegible} {illegible above line}

Sat Feb 18. Fine and much milder. Thawing and water running. Annie here in the evening.

Sun Feb 19. A fall of light snow last night. Very mild and foggy to-day. Aunt Mattie at Church. also Willie and Charlie. I have a cold. It came a heavy thunder storm about six o'clock, then a very high wind. Water high.

Mon Feb 20. Fine and moderately cold. the ice in the den broke up last night water quite high, but {illegible} {settled?} here.

Tue Feb 21. Fine and milder, Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto we drove down and back with Nelson Smellies. We called at Willie Cooks.

Wed Feb 22. A sheet and ice storm effected {wires?} the sheet cave stopped from 3:30 to 3. in morning {wing?} to {wires?} down near Niagara, the Hydro alright!

Thur Feb 23. Mild and showery. Cars got running out her by ten o'clock. Walking very bad. {Cutters?} out first year.

Fri Feb 24. Fine bright and {illegible} clean. Skating on the {illegible} it is so hard and smooth. Aunt Mattie and I at Miss Edeys in the evening.

Sat Feb 25. Fine bright day {illegible} thawing in the sun. Willie called. Annie and {illegible name} here in the evening. Mr Davidson in the eveneing. {Written above the line} {Weltshire?} {back on line} Auntie called

Tue Feb 28. Fine and much colder after a little snow last night, it has helped the sleighing. Aunt M. a cold

Sat Mar 4 Fine bright and thawing a great deal. Sleighing gone Willie here in the evening brought Sausage. Park and {illegible} {illegible}.

Sun Mar 5. Beautiful mild day. getting very sloppy. Wellie and {illegible name} at Church. I went alone. morning and evening as Aunties cold not quite better. Annie and I for a walk.

Mon Mar 6.Fine and warm. water very high at night in ditches. Mr {illegible name} {illegible} here. I went to Richmond Hill and called at {Mercies?}. I went to Hockey match. New Market and Thornhill. Home and home game. {illegible} to {illegible} night.

Tue Mar 7. Mild and {showery?}. rained heavily last night water over the road for an hour. then down. frost {illegible} out.

Wed Mar 8. Fine and much colder. Quite a lot of ice. I went to the Prayer Meeting.

Thur Mar 9. Fine and milder. very bright water running nicely. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto. I ordered out at {illegible}.

Fri Mar 10. Fine and mild very muddy. Annie here in the evening.

Sat Mar 11. Fine and mdoerately cold. Willie called with a sausage pie. Mr Welch died. Aunt Mattie and I down to call in the evening. A beautiful evening. Miss Kelly went to the Hospital Thornhill {illegible} better last eve at new market. Miss Kelly {illegible} m.

Sun Mar 12. Fine brigt day AUnt Mattie called at Kellys then she and I at Church in the morning. Annie and I for a walk in the afternoon. Mr Davidson and I at eve Church. {illegible name} spoke on the Bible Society. this {illegible} {badly?} out. {Yunge?} St-{illegible}.

Mon Mar 13. Fine and quite mild, we washed while {illegible} blanket. I went to Mr Welshs' funeral.

Tue Mar 14. Fine and warm. The Robins here first. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto I had first fitting of my suit.

Wed Mar 15. Fine and colder. We cleaned Clothes Closets. And {Bureau Drawers?}. We went to Prayer Meeting.

Thur Mar 16. Fine and very cold. Auntie cleaned cellar {illegible} shelves. I went to Toronto in afternoon second fitting {illegible wrttien above line}. Mr. {Wiltshires?} Sale. Mr Johnson here in the afternoon. Mr Simpson and Miss Mundy called.

Fri Mar 17. Still very cold. Mary Watson called. the roads drying nicely but very rough. Black Birds.

Sat Mar 18. Fine and cold. roads dry and - dusty.

Sun Mar 19. Cold east wind. I went to morning church. Willie and Mary here for a while in the afternoon. I went {written above the line} did not go {written on line} to evening Church. as it started to sleet.

Mon Mar 20 Fine after a little fall of snow and rain. Auntie cleaned attic windows and swept it.

Wed Mar 22. Fine and quite cold with high wind. I went to shower at Mr {Fees?} for {Ida?} Richards.

Thurs Mar 23. Fine and milder. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto. I was fitted again. roads frozen rough.

Fri Mar 24. Fine and quite mild and bright. I was at a tea at Mr John's in the afternoon. Annie here in evening. Mr Davidson and I at Lenten Service.

Sat Mar 25. Rained a little then cleared and a raw East wind. I went to the Cemetry. Mr {Fees?} buried. I went to call at Welsh’s in the evening. and to ask for Mr Bowes and Mr {illegible}.

Sun Mar 26. Sleeting and snowing. then cleared and warmer a nice afternoon but roads rather muddy. Wylie, {illegible name} and the girls also Mother and Annie here for tea. Mr Davidson and I at evening Church.

Mon Mar 27. A showery day. Auntie washed.

Tues Mar 28. Fine and much milder. very muddy. Aunt Mattie cleaned all the upstairs windows. I cleaned pictures. in the evening it poured rain.

Wed Mar 39. Fine and quite cold. N. W. wind. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto, I got my suit at {Cattos?}. 62. {illegible symbol written above}. called at W. {illegible}. I went to Church to {new?} Ida Richards married at {1.30?} then in to Prayer {illegible}.

Thur Mar 30. A terrific East wind with some snow and sleet. a about the roughest day of the year. {illegible} John {illegible} {illegible}.

Fri Mar 31. Fair at {illegible} quite a lot of snow to shovel. Doctor and Minnie {illegible name} here to spend the day. it started to rain in the afternoon. I went to a {Euchre?} Party at Willie {illegible}. it came a bad sleet storm in the evening. John {illegible} {Sales?}.

Sat Apr 1. Fine and clearing. but very, very {slushy?}. Willie called a few minutes. Auntie {illegible} spare {illegible} bed clothed. Frankie called to ask me to feed their hens.

Sun Apr 2. Fine bright day. very sloppy. {Loraine?} Davidson got a needle {broken?} in her knee.I was late to Church in the morning after coming in from Davidson's. Annie and I for a walk. Mr Davidson and I at eve. Church.

Mon Apr 3. Fine and quite mild. We cleaned all the {upstairs?}. {no?} carpets up. a little shower in the evening.

Tue Apr 4. Fine and colder. we cleaned Back kitchen and cupboard.

Wed Apr 5. Fine and cold. Auntie cleaned cellar windows and shelves. I put on some {illegible}. Auntie and I Prayer Meet

Thurs Apr. 6. Fine and warmer. Auntie washed {illegible} for cleaning. We cleaned {illegible}and shook bed clothes up {Chamber?}. and burnt some grass. Furnace out. Annie called.

Fri Apr. 7. Fine and quite warm. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto. Showery with thunder in the evening. I went to Lenten Service. Mr McDonald poorly. Frogs out.

Sat Apr. 8. Fine and quite mild. We got our {hats?} home from Miss {Barker?} after a little alteration. I called at Mr {Cox?} in the afternoon. We finished cleaning Chamber.

Sun Apr. 9. Fine mild. Aunt Mattie and I at morning church. A {strange?} {illegible} {as?} Mr McDonald party. Mr Davidson and I for a walk in the afternoon, and at evening church. Annie called after church.

Mon Apr. 10. Fine and very warm. high wind. We washed and Auntie helped Mr Davidson with {featherbed?} pillows. Cleaned West Shed.

Tues Apr. 11. A terrific East rain storm. most of the night and poured until noon. Very high water. some in east side of our Cellar. We cleaned all silver and washed china in Parlor and {Diner?}.

Wed Apr. 12. Rained last night then cleared and colder. Aunt Mattie and I at {illegible} Aid Concert. "Old time {quitting?} {illegible}

Thur Apr. 13. Fine and quite cool. We finished cleaning {Allar?}. the windows and shelves done before. Oiled the {furnace?}

Sat Apr. 15. A heavy rain last night. Cold and windy. too cold for working out. Mr John Scott died at 11•30.

Sun Apr. 16. Beautiful bright day. Aunt Mattie and I at morning Easter service. Mr Davidson. Auntie and I at eve service. Willie and Charlie out in the morning. We called to see Mr Scotts remains in the evening.

Mon Apr. 17. Raining heavily all morning then cleared and warmer.

Tue Apr. 18. Fair with cold wind but bright. we cleaned Parlor Dining room, and back dining room. now nearly done cleaning all but outsides of windows. down {stairs?}

Wed Apr. 19. Fine and milder, we raked yard. then in the evening it came a thunder storm with snow and sleet.

Thurs Apr. 20 A very cold north west wind with {illegible} of snow frozen in the shade.

Fri Apr. 21. Fine and very cold windy day. with frost. Auntie and I called at Welsh's in the afternoon. Annie here in the evening.

Sat Apr. 22. Cold and {sqwawls?} of snow. I walked to Willies and called at Mr Clarkes. Willie came out and I came with him. roads fairly good. Annie here in the eve.

Sun Apr. 23. Fine bright but quite cold. Aunt Mattie and I at morning church. Auntie called at Edeys in the afternoon {written above crossed out word} evening. {Back on line} after Mr McD. death. Mon Apr. 24. Fine bright and warmer, we washed. Mr {illegible name} and Mr Howard married. {illegible} Mr McDonald called {written above the line} I cleaned. East and South verandah. {Written on line} Annie washed lounge spread also red table cover.

Tue Apr. 25. Fine and a little warmer, we cleaned front verandah. which was very black. Aunt Mattie and I at a lecture in the hall by {illegible name}. pictures on "{illegible} {illegible}"

Wed Apr. 26. Fine and warm. Mr {illegible name} here. Came a shower in the evening. Mr Davidson and I at {Ideal?} Bread to {Concerts?} for the Football Club. Turned very cold in the evening our garden is dry but rather hard so we are not putting it in.

Thur Apr. 27. Fine but very cold and windy, also dusty. Auntie and I in Toronto

Fri Apr. 28. Fine and cold north wind. Auntie called at {illegible} for a train in the evening.

Sat Apr. 29. Fine and quite cool. {Nelson?} Smellie called to plant little spruce. {illegible symbol written above} 2·25. Annie called in afternoon Aunt Mattie and I at the Grave Yard in eve.

Sun Apr. 30. Fine bright and much warmer. Very dusty. Aunt Mattie and I at morning church. Annie here in afternoon, she and I went to Golf Grounds for a walk. Mr Davidson, Mr Smellie and I at evening church. Mr McD. preached first evening since 19th March.

Mon May 1. A beautiful day and warm. Swept upstairs and put in lettuce. Onion beets and carrots.

Tue May 2. Fine and quite warm. Aunt Mattie and I at {Dutchets?}. left the {plate?} for repair. Very dusty.

Wed May 3. Fine and warm. Varnished spots in hall, and Aunties painted sink table. Washed spare room Counterpane. also East spare room Counterpane. {Masons?} 50 anniversary.

Thur May 4. Showers through the night very foggy. Mr Davidson and I at a {Quilting?} at the Rectory. Annie here in the evening. Lawn mower out first time.

Fri May 5. Fine but dull and foggy at first. Auntie at Kellys. in evening then we met through Club house.

Sat May 6. Damp East wind followed by heavy rain the evening, and through the night. Mr Davidson took Parlor Double window out. I put in Peas in garden.

Sun May 7. {Written above} Received word of Charlie {Jeasdales} death. {Written on line} Dull and cooler. Aunt Mattie, Willie and Grant at church in the morning {Canon Fiddler?} in the evening. very cold.

Mon May 8. {Illegible written below} Fine and warmer. we washed, new dark quilt. Auntie and I out for a walk in the evening at cemetery. Fire out first.

Tue May 9. Fine and bright. Auntie painted back Verandah and steps, also chairs. I walked to Margories in afternoon.

Wed May 10. Fine and warm. We varnished Back Dining room.

Thur May 11. Fine and warm. Auntie and I in Toronto got {Mashin?}. We went for a drive to Edgely with Mr Breakeys, in eve. Mr Fee. called in the evening. Willie and Mary called.

Sun May 14. Fine day. Daylight saving time. Auntie and I at morning church. Willie late. Auntie, Mr Davidson and I at evening church.

Mon May 15. Fine and quite warm no fire for a week. I went to Mr {Ridedelle?} in the evening Auntie at Miss Morgan then we called on Lucy Bowes.

Tue May 16. Fine and very warm. Auntie and I went to Weston. Annie and I at the Golf. grounds in evening.

Wed May 17. Dull and clowdy, I cut all the lawn. a great deal of apple and fruit blossom also lilacs in full. Showery in the evening.

Thur May 18. Damp east fog, then a heavy rain in the evening.

Fri May 19. Damp and dull. I light a little fire. Showery in the eve

Sat May 20. Showery and heavy rain in the afternoon, then cleared a little fire again first yesterday for {two?} days.

Sun May 21. Dull at first then clearing and warmer no need of fire Auntie and I at morning church. Mr Davidson children and I at Childrens service Presbyterian then for a walk to Golf Club. house. We went to evening church. beautiful bright and warm.

Mon May 22. Fine warm day. We went to Mr Mc. and the graveyard in the evening to see about plot.

Tue May 23. Fine and warm. We went to Willies in the afternoon then over to the old place to call. boys brought me home. Mary Watson also Mr R. Farr sick.

Wed May 24. Fine day ideal weather for the holiday. We were at mothers. Wylie took some of us to Elgin Mills in afternoon.

Thur May 25. Showery in the morning then clearing and warm. We went to see Mick Kelly in the eve. also called at Mr McDonalds.

Fri May 26. Fine and warm. We went to Toronto, got bat 3:45 for shape.

Sat May 27. Fine ideal all week. I cut grass three times this week. Auntie and I at graveyard.

Sun May 28. Fine and warm. Auntie and I at morning church, perfect day. I went for a walk to the Golf. Auntie and I at morning Chruch also Willie.

Tue May 30. Fine and quite warm. I called on Mr Bell.

Fri June 2. Dull and cooler. Mary Chapman called. her anniversary. Felicia {book?} and Alice also Mattie St Clair to tea. a light shower in the evening.

Sat June 3. Fine with exception of light shower. I went to {illegible} party at Miss Cooper. Mother in bed has shingles.

Sun June 4. Fine and warm. Aunt Mattie and I at church, in the morning and evening. Willie and Charlie out. Annie and I for a walk in the evening. Very warm.

Thur June 8. Fine very hot for this season unusually so. Mr {Redman's?} house-keeper Mr Travers called. Auntie and I at the grave-yard in the evening.

Fri June 9. Fine and very warm. I called on Willie Farr in eve and to see Lucy. Thunder and rain about {ten?}.

Sat June 10. Very sultry after a splendid rain last night which was badly needed. ground very dry. Auntie and I for a walk in the evening.

Sun June 11. Fine but warm. it rained and stormed most of the night but no dangerous lightning. We did not go to morning church. Mon June 12. Fine and quite cold. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto.

Tue June 13. Fine and quite cold. a little frost last night. Auntie and I went to call at Mr Simpsons.

Wed June 14. Fine and warmer a perfect day. I went to the "W.F.B." pic-nic with Willie. The "Golf Club" opened here at four O'clock. Alice {Sefton?} and Amy Cook called here afterwards.

Thur June 15. Fine and cool an ideal day. We were up at Confirmation Service in evening. nine confirmed.

Fri June 16. Rained in the afternoon for a couple of hours then cleared quite cool. It started to storm and rain about 6 {illegible}

Sat June 17. Dull and foggy with occasional light showers. Mr {Shuter?} called in the afternoon. Cleared and cooler in eve. I was at Mary Watson a while. It thundered and rained nearly all last night. falling a lot of rain. Mother & Annie went to {illegible} for over the week end.

Sun June 18. Fair but dull cool wind all day. Auntie and I at church, also. Willie, Mary, and Grant. Mr Davidson and I at evening church. Nelson & Mr S. brought berries.

Mon June 19. Fine and cool. I went to Toronto, to Bloor St for cakes Annie here all night.

Tue June 20. Fine and warmer a perfect day. I had some girls for tea. {illegible} {Carper?}. James. Boyle. Hall. also Mr D. and Annie. Strawberries I have been getting all along 20 ct but other places were 25 and 28 ct. Mother came home at night.

Wed June 21. Fine and warmer. high wind took D. children to Golf. {written above grounds for Pie {illegible).

Thur June 22. Fine but cold and windy. I have a cold. Auntie and I at Miss Edeys. in the evening. Mary brought cherry pie.

Fri June 23. Fine bright a little warmer. Auntie and I went to Toronto in afternoon had tea down town. Mr Davidson and I for a walk in evening.

Sat June 24. Fine and extremely hot. the highest temperature this year. I went for a walk in the evening.

Sun June 25. A great change to much cooler and cold. N. W. wind. Auntie and I at morning church a strange {illegible}. Hugh & Alice Sefton and baby called also {illegible}. Annie and I for a walk. Mr D. and I at evening church. I wore suit all day.

Mon June 26. Fine and moderately warm.

Tue June 27. Dull with light showers. Jennie Green came for a few days. Strawberries. two for 33 cents.

Wed June 28. Fine and a little warmer. Lizzie and children came out for a week holiday. Annie and Lizzie here in evening.

Thur June 29. Fine bright day, moderately warm.

Fri June 30. Fine and quite warm. Jennie Green went home on 4.02 car. Annie, Lizzie and I went to grave yard in eve.

Sat July 1. Rained gently last night and early this morning then foggy and very dull until evening. Mr D. and children and I went for a walk. Annie and Lizzie here in the eve. This rain will have done a great deal of good.

Sun July 2. Fine bright and cool, a perfect day. Auntie and I at morning church. I went alone to evening church. Turning warmer. Lizzie here in the evening.

Mon July 3. Dull and cool with a few light showers. We washed. Went for a walk to Meth. Cemetery in the evening. Mr D. away for week.

Tue July 4. Fine and very bright and cool. Lizzie, Margaret and Phyllis and I walked to Willies in the afternoon. an ideal day.

Wed July 5. Fine and quite cool. Auntie and I in Toronto. I got cotton Dress $3.95 at Northways. I stayed with the children while A and L. went to tea at Golf. Club. William White and Miss Duncan died.

Thur July 6. Thurs. a fine bright day, moderately warm. Auntie and I for a walk in the evening.

Fri July 7. A very strong hot wind. Auntie and I at William Whites funeral. it came a nice shower in the evening.

Sat July 8. An ideal day and moderately warm. Aunt Matties birthday Annie Lizzie and children here for a pic-nic tea. We went for a walk and then went for a drive to R.H. with Grant and Mary. a great traffic on this line Yonge partly closed.

Sun July 9. Fine and moderately warm. We went to morning church. Willie were out. I went to evening church. girls here in eve.

Mon July 10. Fine and moderately warm followed by high wind and warmer in afternoon. I went to Mr Riddells in the eve.

Tue July 11. Fine and very warm. at Mr Riddells in evening.

Wed July 12. Fine and cooler. Lizzie and children went home. Auntie and I went to Richmond Hill Cemetery in the evening. it came a heavy thunder and rain about eight o’clock.

Thur July 13. Fine and very cool. I went to call on Miss Duncan but she was away. Auntie at Mary Watson in eve.

Fri July 14. Fine and moderately warm. Annie and I for a walk to Upland Golf. Margarie and children brought us berries our first.

Sat July 15. Fine and very warm. very dusty as there is heavy traffic as Yonge St. South is being widened. Tom and Jennie Speught here for tea. Mary Watson called.

Sun July 16. Very warm. I went to Church. Mr Clarke and Willie called on the way from church. Aunt Mattie and Mr D also Willie at evening church. I did not go. very warm the dust terrible as there is an immense traffic on this road. fifty in 15 min. Annie here in the evening.

Mon July 17. A few light showers. thunder at noon. Mr D. in afraid of storm but it did not amount to much. we washed.

Tue July 18. Fine and cool, good to have dust settled a little Mr Little came with berries six boxes 25 cts and gave one

Wed July 19. Fine and moderately warm. we called at Mr Smellies in the evening. then for a walk.

Thur July 20. Fine and moderately warm. Annie and I for a walk to Golf grounds. got my blue silk from Mr Riddelle 13.75

Fri July 21. Fine but terrible dust. Mr Teasdale. George and Clara called in the evening. M. {illegible name} peas & pie last eve.

Sat July 22. Very warm and dusty until evening then came light showers. we expected to go to Stouffville. to wet.

Sun July 23. Light showers and sultry all morning. Picked one ripe tomato. a good deal of wheat cut. Mr Thompson Berries {written above} 20 c. {back on line} we did not go to morning church. I went alone in the evening. Mary and Charlie came and we went to Stouffville left at 3 "o'clock" and home at 6:30. it was pleasant {draining?} the rain did a great deal of good settled dust

Mon July 24. Fine and cool. Auntie and I in Toronto in afternoon she was a W. Cooks.

Tue July 25 Fine and cool. ideal weather. Annie got small basket potatoes for Willies and sent out with Grant. 35 cents. Auntie at Kellys and {illegible name}.

Wed July 26. Fine and moderately warm. Annie and I for a walk in eve. Man called about the oil.

Thur July 27 Fine and moderately warm. dust getting bad again Annie and I for a walk.

Fri July 28. Cool north west wind and terrible dust. A and I called to see Miss Morgan in the evening. Alice Edey called.

Sat July 29. Fine and warmer. Terrible dust. blowing. Several large ripe tomatoes off our vines. Mr D. Annie and Auntie and I went to Mt Pleasant on quarter to six {illegible}.

Sun July 30. Fine a little warmer. I went to Church in morning. Terrible dust and n.w. wind. Aunt Mattie went to evening Church alone. Mr McDonald away on holiday.

Tue Aug 1. Fine and moderately warm. great traffic. a letter from Maude Morse. then I phoned her. We are getting lovely tomatoes off our vines. we took up Onions.

Wed Aug 2. Maude Morse came on the 12.02 car. it came a terrible storm about three o’clock. with hail while none at the Village. a terrible wind storm west of here. Mr D. in.

Thur Aug 3. Fine and showery. a gentleman called regarding the Oil for road.

Fri Aug 4. Fine with terrific n.w. wind the oil tank came about 6.30. we gave $3.00 each of we 1.50 {written above} $.

{Back on line} Sat Aug 5. Fine bright with a cool north wind. the road is in a splendid condition after the oiling. Auntie and I at Mary Watsons in the evening.

Sun Aug 6. Cool and dull. Auntie and I at church supply as Mr McDonald is away on his holidays. It started to rain heavily about three o’clock. then partly fair at church time. I went alone in the evening. rained very heavy {thro?} night.

Mon Aug 7. Civic Holiday, damp with occasional showers. the traffic immense in the evening a continual stream 45 to 60 in five minutes. Willie called at the door. also Alice and {Hugh Sefton?}.

Tue Aug 8. Fine with a cold north wind - drying up. Auntie and I walked to Mayories in the evening.

Wed Aug 9. Fine bright and cool. Auntie and I to Jacksons Pt. went on the ten car arriving about twelve. {Written above line)$ {Back on line}1.70. Mr Collins called in evening about garden Party.

Thur Aug 10. Fine bright and cool. Auntie and I called at Mr Simpons in the evening. Mother and Annie to Toronto to Lizzies.

Fri Aug 11. Fine and warmer.

Sat Aug 12 Fine and very warm. We went to garden party at Mr Fees. Willie brought us home.

Sun Aug 13. Fine and very warm. Auntie and I also Willie at church. John Cooks. Verner and George for tea.

Mon Aug 14. Fine and warm.

Tue Aug 15. Fine and very warm. The humidity is great.

Wed Aug 16. Very warm about four it came a very bad Electric storm last a couple of hours no damage here but some parts it was dangerous. but did not cool the air

Thur Aug 17. Very hot. a little rain about five with thunder. I was at {Drs?} in eve for address of School. Co, also tonic for Auntie. warm and sultry after rain.

Fri Aug 18. A warm sultry day. Mr D. and children went to Swansea Mr Findlays cow died. In the evening turned very cool.

Sat Aug 19. Fine and very cool. Auntie and I went to Toronto on 8:15 car and home on the 12:30. I get arch supports $5. he says I should wear size 6½ A.

Sun Aug 20. Fine and cool. n.w. wind dust is blowing again. I went to morning church. a strange preacher. Willies family also Marjorie here for tea. W. at quarter to seven others a quarter to eight. the dust terrible in the evening.

Mon Aug 21. Fine and cool. M. Kelly died last night. I went up to Richmond Hill for flowers. We called at Kelly's in evening.

Tue Aug 22. Fine and warm. a great many through harvest.

Wed Aug 23. Very warm. Mick Kelly buried at 10. a.m. Auntie and I at the funeral. Mary here for dinner and she went to the Doctor at noon. Shingles. It came thunder in the evening but no rain. W. waiting for {illegible}.

Thur Aug 24. Fine and quite sultry. Mother and Annie came home. Mr Davidson and I for a walk. thunder and a little shower in the night. Mr D. gave me corn.

Fri Aug 25. Rained lightly in the morning then very high wind and thunder in afternoon. but only sprinkles Willies {thrashing?}.

Sat Aug 26. Fine with cool north-west wind. Horticultural. Show Auntie and I went to tea. Charlie called with corn late in evening. Exhibition opened.

Sun Aug 27. Fine bright and quite cold. I went to morning church Annie and I for a walk in the afternoon. Auntie and I at evening church.

Mon Aug 28. Fine bright day and warmer. We washed. {Miss?} Page called. Mr Rich Simpson called with Pears.

Tue Aug 29. Rained gently for a few hours. then cleared. Auntie and I went to Toronto in the afternoon tea down town.

Wed Aug 30. Fine bright and cool an ideal day. Auntie and I went to the Exhibition went on 12 car and home. 8.02 got a small basket of peaches 65 cents.

Thur Sept 1 Aug 31. Fine bright day. We made tomato butter they were sold. Small basket, also a couple of jars of peaches. {In blue} Corn roast at W. Robinsons.

{In Black} Fri Sept 2 1. Fine and quite warm and sultry.

Sat Sept 3 2. Fine and very hot and sultry. We went to Mr Wiltshires for Cauliflowers. Auntie called to ask for Miss Morgan.

Sun Sept 4 3. Fine and very warm. We were at church also Willie and Grant. W. came here for dinner. then he and Mary went to R.H. a little shower early but soon dry and dust {illegible}. {In blue} I went to evening church. very warm.

{In Black} Mon Sept 4. Labor Day. very warm and very dusty. The traffic is great. Auntie and I for tomatoes at N. Smellies 15 cts small basket.

Tue Sept 5. Fine and very warm and sultry. Double {tracking?} Yonge St at North Toronto. Canned tomatoes
