Thur May 17. A terrific rain from the east, cleared about moon. girls went home then Mr Wright took mother about noon. Minnie appelbe arrived about five. Meu out on watch all night.
Fri May 18. Fine bright and much warmer. Auntie and I at Mothers in the afternoon. Minnie cause here for tea and night.
Sat May 19. Fie bright and warmer. the funeral at three-thirty. new time. the two boys arrested on friday. up for exam today
Sun May 20. A heavy rain started about six followed by thunder and lightning about nine and ten, then cleared in afternoon. AUntie and I went to see Annie. it came severe thunder and lightning about seven but did not last long.
Mon May 21 Fine and moderately warm. we washed. Annie went to Lizzies and shut house up. Auntie and I at Graveyard eve. Mrs reakey here in the evening. Morley helped cut grass.
Tue May 22. Fine day. Auntie and I in Toronto. changed light Coat $15 for black at $22.50. Mrs Reawans died. Willies called.
Wed May 23. Fine and warmer. we called at Mr Reawans. Auntie Drs.
Thur May 24. Victoria Day. I went to Mrs Reawans funeral. Mary here for a while. put in more peas. at grave yard an ideal day. no fire in heater.
Fri May 25. Fine quite warm going without a coat. Meta Jackson and Mrs Will Orr called. Varnished dining room.
Sat May 26. Very warm sitting out. we caled at Mrs Parkinsons F. Cox brought small basket of berries.
