29th I came down to Halstead Bay cemetry built foundation for Alex Richardson job Jack L. helped me in after noon about three hrs we set the two bases Fred & Roy were both here in after-noon was a cloudy day Jack finished lettering Bradey job to-day got through about two O'Clock we stayed at Geo. Bryan's to-night had tea & lodging 30th I settled with Mrs Bryan $100 we came to Town it rained on us about all the way home got home about ten I marked Ins on Rowswell after dinner 56 cts for 1/ bu of corn 63 cts for 1/2 bu of wheat for hens 5 cts for peanuts 5 cts for candy it rained a lot last night & to-day.
