Fri Apr 9. Fine bright day. I went to Toronto for dress. two dollars and 1 dollar for lace. Material four yards at 2:95. Annie at Club at Miss Hall's. Sat Apr 10. Fine bright day. Snow and ice going. roads drying up middle. I went to pay Dr for Sunday call. Annie came here. Sun Apr 11. Fine bright and very cold. a heavy frost at night. at morning church. John, Della, Denver and Miss Wilson also Alice, Hugh and Elizabeth for tea here about four and left at 8:30. Mon Apr 12. Fine bright after a heavy frost. dusty. washed and ironed for Cleaning. and got all ready. Tue Apr 13. Fine bright and a little milder. Mrs Sanders here from 8:30 to 2:15 at 35$\text{cts}$ hour 1.75. I finished up rooms. made and put up curtains in north room. took up Sitting room Carpet. Wed Apr 14. Milder followed by a squall in afternoon and very, very cold terrific wind. I was in Toronto met J.. Thur Apr 15. Very cold wind had frosty quite a bit of ice around. washed China and ornaments in double room. Fri Apr 16. Fair but cold. I went to Girl's Day Association Eucher. Madras curtain twenty-four tables. Lizzie came out. too cold to clean. Sat Apr 17. Fine bright but very cold wind. Annie's Euchre 3:30 to 5:30 tea served. six tables. very dusty. furnace still in but no fire in heater.
