Fri Jan 1 New Years Day, I had Willies family Marjories also Annie and Lorraine for dinner. Mrs Davidson and I went to concert in United Church the boys class had a play etc. It was quite a mild a perfect day.

Sat Jan 2. Fine and quite mild perfect day.

Sun Jan 3. Fine and milder, at morning church. John and George Coole for tea also Donald Davidson

Mon Jan 4. Fair and mild but very damp and foggy

Tue Jan 5. Damp and misty quite sloppy and icy

Wed Jan 6. Rather blustery then clear and colder. I went to Toronto home early. Jennie Edy called. Mrs. Davidson in the afternoon

Thurs Jan 7. Fine but cold and windy. very icy. bright day.

Fri Jan 8. Fine and moderately cold. I went to Annies in afternoon to make sandwich and keep fires up for the Bridge Club in the evening. perfect eve.

Sat Jan 9. Snowing steadily from the East all day. very light snow but quite a debth.

Sun Jan 10. Fine and bright windy in afternoon. I went to morning church Annie and I for a walk in afternoon. I went to evening church.

Mon Jan 11. Rather blustery and quite a fall of snow.

Tue Jan 12. Fine and colder. I called at N. Smellies in eve and phoned F. Teasdales for Thursday eve.

Wed Jan 13. Milder with light snow in afternoon in Toronto in the afternoon. Sleighing fairly good.

Thur Jan 14. Fine bright and moderately cold. at first followed by snow and very blustery in afternoon. Frank and Mrs Teasdale, Nelson and Mrs Smellie here to spend the evening. cleared about 9 P.M.

Fri Jan 15. Fine and milder in Toronto met. E. Annie here started last night.

Sat Jan 16. Fine and moderately cold. a perfect day. Went to church for a walk in afternoon. Mrs D and I at evening church. Golf. seeing them costing coming. called. {written above as line ran out of space} at Murdys in eve.

Sun Jan 17. Fine a perfect day. Thawing. I went to church. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk, and then at evening Ch.

Mon Jan 18. Dull followed by a gentle rain in afternoon making it very slippery.

Tue Jan 19. Fair and mild but damp. I called to see Hellen Fowler in afternoon called to see Isobel Dee, Birdie McLean and Mrs Wilson. Irene Scorr died.

Wed Jan 20. Fair and mild. I called to see Mrs Edey in eve.

Thur Jan 21. Colder with a fall of light snow last night.

Fri Jan 22. Fine but cold. N.W. wind 5 below zero. I went to Town. Mrs DelaPorte called. went to Annies she at Club, Swings.

Sat Jan 23. Fine but very cold wind fortunately little snow or would drift.

Sun Jan 24. Very cold wind. at morning church Irene Scott buried. I did not go out in eve. cold and windy.

Mon Jan 25.Fine and moderately cold. I went to Rink for a while, and missed. Miss Mundey and Mrs Simpson who called. Went to Vestry meeting.

Tue Jan 26.Fine and quite cold. I called at Mrs Balls with a donation of $5 for deficit. Mrs Boyle and Miss Medd called also Mrs Simpson and Miss Mundey in eve.

Wed Jan 27.Fine bright and moderately cold. a perfect day. I went to Drs in evening. $1

Thur Jan 28.A cold N.W. wind and very cold little snow or else it would have filled the roads. I did not go to Dentist in case of drifting. Moccasin Dance postponed. Below zero and wind terrific. helping Mrs D. piece compt.

Fri Jan 29.Fine and quite cold. 6. below zero. Annie here night.

Sat Jan 30.Fine extreme change for milder. all slushy, ice and water. Irene here friday, gave her Coke. also today for loan. Mrs D and I for a walk.

Sun Jan 31.Dull and mild quite watery and icy. I went to morning Church. in to hear Radio Canon Cody. at Annie’s at night.

Mon Feb 1.Mild and rather damp. I called at Mrs Smellie’s in the afternoon I went to Annie’s as she was at Wells in eve

Tue Feb 2.Fine and much colder. I went to Toronto. at W.C Mr. H.B. went to call with Mrs D. to get Coat. a clear fine day. W. but shivering.

Wed Feb 3.Fine and moderately cold. Reception at Parsonage. a little light snow in eve. I was at Dr’s for medicine.

Thur Feb 4.A fall of light snow in night. I helped Mrs Davidson tie a cloth comforter. quite cold. fine Moccasin Dance. $3

Fri Feb 5.Fine bright day. I was in Toronto. front teeth at R. Boyd. called at Miss McTimmons. At Annies she was at Club.

Sat Feb 6.Mild but quite misty almost rain. Lizzie and Children at Annies remained until Sunday A.M.

Sun Feb 7.Fine and quite cold and gusty. I went to morning and evening Church. Mrs D. and I for a walk. I called left Sundays and Pork. Lorraine here for tea.

Mon Feb 8.Fine bright and moderately cold. I called at Mr. B. Simpsons in afternoon.

Tue Feb 9.Fine and colder. better flurries of snow.

Wed Feb 10.Fine and very cold wind although not few. Annie and I spent the day at Lizzie's home at 9 P.M. The United Church had a Valentine Social. collected $27.00 for.

Thur Feb 11.Fine but cold and windy. The Boyle girls, Annie and I at Mr Davidson's to hear Radio.

Fri Feb 12.Fine and milder a perfect day. Went to Toronto at Irvine in afternoon. Annie here at night. Mrs Davidson in evening. Coal Strike over.

Sat Feb 13.Fine bright and milder. Presby. terian and U. Church had S. S. Sleigh rides and supper. a perfect day. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk. at Dr's in eve. $1

Sun Feb 14.Fine and mild, dull. at morning and eve Church. drove out with Dr to Willis. Mrs Gallagher called. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk. Coal Strike over a few days ago.

Mon Feb 15.A fall of light snow, then clear and colder. I called on Mrs Hobbes. and at Mrs Shelders in afternoon.

Tue Feb 16.Fine and quite cold. our Oyster Supper cleared $32 I gave two dollars. I helped Mrs Davidson to tie a comforter. "Supper $5 cents."

Wed Feb 17.Fine and quite mild. I called to see Miss Harris and Mary Campbell.

Sun Feb 21.Fine quite cold. below zero in the morning. I went to morning and evening Church. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk afternoon.

Mon Feb 22.Fine and moderately cold. I called on Mrs Jim Fishers.

Tue Feb 23.Fine bright and cold. at Miss Edges in eve. Annie at Oakwood.

Wed Feb 24.Fine bright and moderately cold. N. W. at Mrs Robinsons.

Thur Feb 25.Rained heavily all day. water and slush bad.

Fri Feb 26.Cold north wind and blustery. Stopped storming at noon but water running. I went out. Sick way but bad going.

Sat Feb 27.Very cold and windy. I got home in cutter. B. Scotts. and at night it was frozen at this sides. water terrific. the motors were getting stuck continually. I went to Annies as it was bad going.

Sun Feb 28. Fine and moderately cold. Can walk on side but still bad for motors. Some Slack I went to morning Church. Mrs D and I for a walk, at the United Church in the evening.

Mon Mar 1. A fall of light snow then cleared and soft. Bad for motors getting stuck but can walk at this side. Annie here.

Tue Mar 2. Fair and colder. men chopped ice on road and much better. I went to Annies. Marguerite in for a game of Bridge.

Wed Mar 3. Fine and quite cold. all frozen clean and dry. Annie here at night. "Mar 4" see Ken Coal. 16 and 7 for coke 8.

Thur Mar 4. Fine and very cold wind. I went to Toronto. Rubber industry.

Fri Mar 5. Fine very cold about zero. Mrs Hobbes called. I was in at Boyles, the Bridge Club. Mrs Durdon in afternoon.

Sat Mar 6. Fine bright and cold. a little below zero. at Mrs Johns Euchre I got Prize. "46" - 4 tables. Annie came here to let her fire out.

Sun Mar 7. Snowing gently has fallen quite a lot in night. I went to morning Church. Annie here. not so cold. We went for a walk when it cleared about 3:30 P.M. at evening Church. turning colder.

Mon Mar 8. Fine and very cold wind. I called at Mrs Reaces Robinsons and Mrs Nobles. A and I at Boyles two tables of Bridge.

Tue Mar 9. Fine and quite cold

Wed Mar 10.Fine and cold about zero. I went to Toronto. I have a cold. Thur Mar 11.Fine bright day. very cold in Toronto at shears.

Fri Mar 12.Fine with cold. north winds about zero. I have a cold at Dr’s for Cough medicine $1

Sat Mar 13.Fine. very cold 4 below zero. I went to Toronto with Mrs Davidson to see the "Man between" at Uptown Theatre. left here about twenty to seven and below left at 12. Had a long wait for car.

Sun Mar 14.Fine bright day. a little milder. I went to church felt sick. Had Dr Doctor. Annie here at night.

Mon Mar 15.Fine bright and cold. I felt sick all day. lying down most all day. Annie here at night. Mrs Jesse Pranum very poorly.

Tue Mar 16.Fine and quite cold. Mrs D and children went to Pranums. I felt a little better in afternoon. went to Euchre at Mrs Elson's, five tables. Annie came here.

Wed Mar 17.Fine and milder. I went to Toronto bought Amethyst Dress 4 yards, $3.50 - Fourteen dollars. I met Lizzie. had lunch together. I went to Odd Time Concert at United Church.

Thur Mar 18.Fine and moderately cold. Florence James called in morning. Mrs Davidson and I out to pay Tho. Hall and for a walk.

Fri Mar 19.Fine and mild. Annie had Bridge Club. I went in afternoon to fix for it. Rained in evening quite heavily then cleared.

Sat Mar 20.Fine bright and much warmer. water running quickly and got over in morning alright. At night walked over in Rubber boots. Lizzie and Children at Annies for tea.

Sun Mar 21. Fine bright and mild. perfect day. I walked over but could not go back to church. I went out back came at night. at evening church. in to see Jimmy Bowes.

Mon Mar 22. Fine bright and milder. water very high. I got a ride over "Robins" both times went out early in the evening. asked for maiden.

Tue Mar 23. Dull and showery all day. water not quite so high. I walked over in the evening. Cleaned Bureau Drawers.

Wed Mar 24. Fine and bright. water not so deep. Cleaned Clothes Closet aired and put away furs. Called at Mrs Simpsons in eve.

Thur Mar 25. Fine bright day. water over walked over with long boots. thought it safe. I went out.

Fri Mar 26. Fine but much colder. Annie at Skating Carnival and stayed at Lizzie's over night. Lorraine with me. water settled and went over in light boots. the first for a week. Cleaned and Scrubbed Cellar. heavy and dirty.

Sat Mar 27. Fine but very cold a hard frost. Annie and I along with Boyle girls at Welsh's for tea. Annie came here.

Sun Mar 28. Fine bright but very cold. I was at Church. morning and evening. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk.

Mon Mar 29. Fine and a little milder. I went to call at John Brooks and Alice Sifton's.

Tue Mar 30. Fine and moderately cold. east wind. We were at a Bridge at Mrs McWhirter's. three tables. in to 10:30 went with Mrs Johns.

Wed Mar 31. Ice storm. terrible destruction. rows of poles broken or gone. Electric light off until Sunday afternoon. Mr Penman died. Boys' Banquet at United Church. look see All the costs.

Thur Apr 1. Colder. The Ice all thawed off last evening. Snowing and blowing most of this day. Mrs Davidson and I took our Hats to Miss Barkers. Called at Mr Reaman's. I was dead sleepy in at Mrs Shutt's in evening. no lights here.

Fri Apr 2. Fine bright day ideal but a lot of snow. Some sleighing. I went to Church. and to the funeral at 2 P.M. Willie Cook came home for tea. I went to Annie's the girls are there. Mr Reaman is 84 years.

Sat Apr 3. A terrific day snowing and blowing. wet snow. I went to Toronto home early. at Annie's at night terrible slush.

Sun Apr 4. Easter Sunday. a little colder but slushy in afternoon at morning Church. a good congregation. Annie Lizzie and Children here for tea also Dorrine Davidson I went to evening Church.

Mon Apr 5. Fine and mild. Slushy. water over a little. I called to see Mrs Raddy. sent mattress over washed 25 cts.

Tue Apr 6. Fine bright a perfect day. I went to Curlers Euchre about a hundred there. Cleaned spare room.

Wed Apr 7. Raining and sleeting but ice soon came off. I went to Toronto to get dress fitted. Mrs Well's shortened coat 50 cts. Lizzie and children went home. rained all night quite muddy.

Thur Apr 8. Fine and very muddy. at U. Church. St Georges Choir there. water over a little.

Fri Apr 9. Fine bright day. I went to Toronto for dress. two dollars and 1 dollar for lace. Material four yards at 2:95. Annie at Club at Miss Hall's.

Sat Apr 10. Fine bright day. Snow and ice going. roads drying up middle. I went to pay Dr for Sunday call. Annie came here.

Sun Apr 11. Fine bright and very cold. a heavy frost at night. at morning church. John, Della, Denver and Miss Wilson also Alice, Hugh and Elizabeth for tea here about four and left at 8:30.

Mon Apr 12. Fine bright after a heavy frost. dusty. washed and ironed for Cleaning. and got all ready.

Tue Apr 13. Fine bright and a little milder. Mrs Sanders here from 8:30 to 2:15 at 35$\text{cts}$ hour 1.75. I finished up rooms. made and put up curtains in north room. took up Sitting room Carpet.

Wed Apr 14. Milder followed by a squall in afternoon and very, very cold terrific wind. I was in Toronto met J..

Thur Apr 15. Very cold wind had frosty quite a bit of ice around. washed China and ornaments in double room.

Fri Apr 16. Fair but cold. I went to Girl's Day Association Eucher. Madras curtain twenty-four tables. Lizzie came out. too cold to clean.

Sat Apr 17. Fine bright but very cold wind. Annie's Euchre 3:30 to 5:30 tea served. six tables. very dusty. furnace still in but no fire in heater.

Sun Apr 18. Fine very cold wind and frost at morning and evening. Church. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk. Mrs Brown.Mon

Apr 19. Fine very cold. dusty. washed and ironed for downstairs rooms. Cleaned silver. Mr Wilcox died. Mrs D. and I called at Mrs Lobb's.

Tue Apr 20. Fine and a little warmer. Mrs D. and I called at Mrs Wilcox's. I had Mrs Sanders finished Dining room Parlor. Furnace out. had 8 rooms curtains washed. 75 cents. terrible dusty.

Wed Apr 21. Fine and much warmer. Took covers off cistern. Person called and cleaned Back Kitchen. warm winds. Varnish here.

Thur Apr 22. Fine bright and warm. Surveying road for $3 mile. I cleaned store-room. Mr Young man called to give a price on barn. twenty-five dollars for his work all but brick.

Fri Apr 23. South side $12 cleaned lower part of shed. soaked and burnt. yards, all about done but back dining room and cellar kitchen and varnishing etc. no fire needed since Tuesday. at Miss Edley's eve.

Sat Apr 24. Cooler East wind. rained heavily a couple of hours then cleared about three. Mrs D. and I went for a little walk. rain has done much good. cleaned grass and freshened. Annie here. Rained in night.S

un Apr 25. Fine but dull and very cold wind. I went to morning church. lighted heater yesterday and to-day. Mrs Davidson in the afternoon. at evening church.

Mon Apr 26. Very cold and windy. Heavy frost and ice. I washed and cleaned Cellar Kitchen, all done but back Dining rooms. and a little Varnish here.

Tuesday, Apr. 27 Fine bright and a little warmer. Mr. Youngman painting our barn. I went to Toronto.

Wednesday, Apr. 28 Colder and windy after a heavy rain in night.

Thursday, Apr. 29 Fine mist and dull and cold. In afternoon I put on coal ashes and cinders, trimmed out berry canes. In morning called to see Fanny Brown, took her tea.

Friday, Apr. 30 Dull and cool, occasional showers. Called to see Mr. Weston. Fine evening and much warmer. Annie here for tea.

Saturday, May 1 Fine bright and warm. Mrs. Davidson and I for a walk. I went up to see Mrs. Wells about a dress in eve. At Annie’s fire every day this week.

Sunday, May 2 Change of time. Thunder and a shower about 10:30, then cleared but sultry heat. At morning church, Mrs. Davidson and I for a walk. At evening church.

Monday, May 3 Very, very cold and windy. I washed. In Toronto in afternoon.

Tuesday, May 4 Fine and cold. Ice this morning. Called at Wellies. Margie is sick. Miss Harris buried. Called at eve, got some flowers.

Wednesday, May 5 Fine bright and quite cold. Went to Toronto, had hair clipped, singed, and done up.

Thursday, May 6 Fine and quite warm, sultry. I dug around shrubs, put in lettuce, onions, and peas; first time it was dry. I walked out to see Margie, she is very sick.

Friday, May 7 Fine and warm. Did more digging and then painted back verandah and steps, dried nicely. For a drive with Mr. Smellie to Gardiner’s. Annie to “T” Club at Welch’s. No fire in heater a week and 2 days.

Mr. Youngman painted house — two coats all but S. wall.

Saturday, May 7 Fine bright day, warm and almost too hot. Magnolias in perfection. Painted at 2:30.

Sunday, May 8 Fine and bright but cool and windy. I went to morning church. Annie went to see “Little Lizzie” — pleasant. Lighted a little fire in the evening. I walked out to see Margie in eve — a little better.

Monday, May 9 Fine but dull and cool, washed. Picked rhubarb, cool.

Tuesday, May 10 Fine bright day, very fine afternoon. Painted dining room back and east room single coat. Worked at east verandah and in rooms, cleaned.

Wednesday, May 11 Fine bright and warm. Painted east and S. sides of ladies aid tier at Tayler’s at concert and dance at the Hall in aid of Choir fund.

Thursday, May 12 Fine bright and warm. Cleaned front verandah. Varnished front door, and finished painting rails, parlor and hall. At 900 Wells for a while.

Friday, May 13 Fine bright day. Cleaned three flower beds and weeded outside Mrs. Davidson, and called on Mrs. Weyland and Mrs. Banks. Came home to supper about 8:30.

Saturday, May 14 Fine bright and warm, no frost for several nights.

Sunday, May 15 Fine and quite warm. At morning church, Annie & I went to Margie’s in middle evening and sat on verandah.

Monday, May 16 Fine and warm. Washed. East rooms and yard in severe odor.

Tue May 18. Fine and warm. W out they are through seeding. Sent some lawn. Called at Sunny Brook in eve.

Wed May 19. Cooler and showery. Rained most of day. doing good.Thur May 20. Fine clear and bright afternoon but cool. I was in Toronto - J.

Fri May 21. Dull and light showers. Mr Street put in 2 tons Coal. $5.15 a ton 46:32. I went to Miss Wells for dress 4:50 it cost 12:39 in all.

Sat May 22. Raining light showers and warmer. But house cool and damp. a little fire.

Sun May 23. Fine bright, very cool. I went to spend day at John Cook's. went for a drive. and Verner and Salicia brought me home.

Mon May 24. Fine bright a little warmer. Cut lawn put in more peas. for a walk with girls. over to see fire works.

Tue May 25. Fine and warmer. I put shellac on Oil cloth. all done now. Ruth here for tea.

Wed May 26. Fine and warm. Annie and I also Ruth went down to Lizzie's. in afternoon went to see Lizzie Peebles in evening.

Thur May 27. Fine and mild. I went to Phyllis School Flower day and home in afternoon. my hat blocked 2:05. Mrs D and I at Ball game. Annie here.

Fri May 28. Fine and bright no fire all week. Mrs Smellie and Elizabeth here in evening.

Sat May 29. Fine warm day. I went to Weston left here at 2. and arrived at 4. P.M. went by Bloor.

Sun May 30. Blossom Sunday. we were at Church and George took us for a drive in afternoon and evening celara and I took a walk. rained late eve.

Mon May 31. Fine but sultry. I brought me to Toronto home about 3:30. picked Dandelions. preparations for road. Dandelions.

Tue June 1. Fine and warm a shower last night good growth. Blossoms, Lilacs, all in full bloom. Cut grass and put in cistern. made Dandelion wine. Started to work on Cuthbert's on road. rained late to night.

Wed June 2. Fine but turning very cold. windy. Minnie came at noon. Miss McMillan's here for tea. squalls of rain and very dull.

Thur June 3. Fine bright felt cold. Minnie and I called on Mrs Scott. traffic closed as Cuthbert is in.

Fri June 4. Fine bright and warmer. Cut grass. went for a little walk West. Mrs Simpson and Miss Munday were.

Sat June 5. Fine and warm ideal day. painted pumps and screw door. Minnie left. Mrs D and I at yard work. went to Annie's at night. road closed for work end.

Sun June 6. Fair at first I went to Church. Mrs D and I for a walk started to rain at five o'clock gently. I went to Mary Watson's in evening and out to Annie's for the night.

Mon June 7. Fine and moderately warm. Mrs D. helped me make brown Muslin. rained a little in eve. I called to pay Insurance. 35:20 this rate raised to 1.5 % and a reduction of 4.80 for lightening protection.

Tues June 8. Starting to plough up roads and grade. It came to heavy rain at noon. a little thunder. ground well soaked. Dr McGregor Donald found dead.

Wed June 9. Fine and moderately warm. I went to Toronto - Mrs Horan died suddenly. at Miss Edley's in eve.

Thur June 10. Fine and warmer. Aunt Annie's paid 1:00.

Fri June 11. Fine and bright and warm in Toronto. pitcher Volga Bortcher. Started to lay cement.

Sat June 12. Rained gently most of the afternoon. Mrs D and I for a walk in evening very damp. Annie here.

Sun June 13. Fine and warm rather sultry. at morning Church. Mrs D. and I for a walk. Willie here for a while had tea. I went for a walk when he went home then for a walk with B. and S. and Annie.

Mon June 14. Raining most of day and about seven came a thunder storm and terrific rain for several hours and most all night. I went to Annie's as her Aunt Lizzie and Hamilton's there. men off the road most of day.

Tues June 15. Fine and warm. started of cement at noon. I called at Mary Watson's in eve.

Wed June 16. Fine and warmer. I called at Mrs DeLaporte and Mrs Smellie's. men working on here.

Thur June 17. Fine and bright perfect day. I went to Toronto with Mrs Davidson she was shopping.

Fri June 18. Fine and colder. finished Cement at George Street so were about a week having been off on Sat and Monday past time on account of rain. Mrs R. Simpson called with flowers for [illegible].

Sat June 19. Fine but very cold wind. men at ditches. I went to Annie's.

Sun June 20. Fine bright but cold a touch of frost but not much damage flowers not touched. I went to morning church. walk in afternoon and eve church.

Mon June 21. Dull but no rain a little warmer.

Tue June 22. A shower last night and cool wind to-day. bright at painted Verandah 1.50 a quart for paint. started to finished 1 P.M. I called at Mr Noble's. 1 for 5.5. five. illegible and 5 for grave yard. Mr Murphy. baseball in eve.

Wed June 23. Warmer with thunder storm at noon and later in in Toronto 3. but did not get wet. finished Ditches.

Thur June 24. Fine and bright a little warmer. I went to Willie's eve.

Fri June 25. Fine and moderately warm. Mrs D took off front blinds.

Sat June 26. Very cool. Mrs D and I for walk in eve. got 1 box Strawberry 30 cents.

Sun June 27. Fine bright day a little cool. at morning Church. Mrs D and I went for a walk in afternoon I went to eve ch. illegible.

Mon June 28. Fine bright moderately warm. I went to Jennie's illegible for tea. home about ten.

Tue June 29. Fine and warm, hottest day yet, as June has been a very cool month. Annie got hair bobbed.

Wed June 30. Fine and cooler a perfect day. Strawberries 50 cents.

Sun Sept 19. A heavy fog and quite warm. cleared at noon and beautiful. Willies and Annie here for tea. We went for a little drive out to The Third. I went to morning Church, Florida storm.

Mon Sept 20. Fine bright day, I picked a small basket Lombard Plumbs at Mrs. Davidson's, washed for cleaning and got all ready.

Tue Sept 21. Fine and bright and warm, but "East wind." Egan Celia's. Mrs. Saunders here. up in attic, then finished upstairs and cleaned outside of down stairs windows. Mrs Mason at Annie's since yesterday. quite a lot of grain & clover seed out.

Wed Sept 22. A heavy storm and rain about ten o'clock. I did Plumbs and cleaned Back Kitchen. Mrs D. and Mrs Youngman in during storm. I went up to help decorate Church in eve.

Thur Sept 23. Dull and threatening all day. I did basket of Peaches 75 c's. it started to rain about 7:30 and poured most of night. I got my satin hat made over 2:00. It has been dreadful weather for weeks, everything soaked and no chance to dry. Mrs Davidson and I at Thanksgiving Service, Bradford Clergyman.

Fri Sept 24. Dull and showery and very damp. I cleaned Cellar all but Furnace, thunder in afternoon then rain in the night, very warm and sultry

Fri Feb 25. Fine and very mild. I went to see Dr Campbell and have to have a slight operation on Saturday morning. Called at Dr Johns’s I went. Started 18 miles in car.

Sat Feb 26. A mild stormy day. Thawing and snowing and very wet. I went to have operation on nose at Physicians and Surgeons building left here 7:32. Operation at 9:30. Five dollars for operating room. $5 day for recovery room.

Sun Feb 27. Fine and mild. I was in Hospital. Higbie called also Dr Campbell took a pot of packing out of nose.

I was at Annies for night. it has rained a great deal since Mon 9th May. some days only light showers but not at all fair or sunny. grass growing rapid. needs cutting twice a week. fire in heater every afternoon.

Thur July 21. Fine bright and cool a perfect day and fine for haying this week, but got such a soaking over week end takes a lot of drying. Annie out here, Hugh. Alice and childrens called, Mr Doner called.

Tue Aug 2. Fine and quite cool. I went to Weston in afternoon. George brought me over to yonge St. Mrs Teasdale poorly. Mrs Mason went home.

Wed Aug 3. Fine bright and cool. Mrs Davidson and I at Miss Edeys in eve.

Thur Aug 4. Fine day. Lizzie and children back to Annies untill friday light shower.

Fri Aug 5. Fine bright and cool, a perfect day. Annie Lizzie and girls, also Agnes B and Lorraine for tea outside. Margaret remained out.

Sat Aug 6. Fine and warmer. out for a walk in eve. Margaret and Mary, Bowes at Annies to play with Margaret. called here. Prince opened new Union Station. helped Mrs D. with dough n little or no rain for two weeks, good. hay and harvest.

Sun Aug 7. Fine and much warmer, heard Price over Radio also at opening of new Peace Bridge. Lake Ont - L.Erie.

Mon Aug 8. Dull and misty then hot and sultry. Mrs Davidson and children went away early. a few drops of rain at night then cooler.

Tue Aug 9. Fine bright and very cool high wind. I put jewelry in safety box, in Mts Smellies verundah in evening. Took Mr D. tea.

Wed Aug 17. Fine and beautiful not too warm. I went to Mrs Teasdales funeral left here a few minutes to 12. came up with Mr and Mrs Campbell to cemetry

Thur Aug 18. Fine very cool. the girls here for lunch (corn) I was there with Boyles for afternoon team. gave L. 1 pr blankets. three pair shuts.

Fri Aug 19. Fine and cool. went with Agnes and Marguerite for a pic nic at Wilery Lake.

Sat Aug 20. Fine bright a little warmer. I had the girls, boyle girls and Mrs Davidson for dinner at 6. lamb. 40 - $1.90.

Sun Aug 21. Fine and a little warmer. I went to morning church for a walk with Mrs Davidson in eve. not any rain of any account here since july 23, four weeks yesterday. rain in other parts. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk in eve.

Mon Aug 22 Fine and moderately warm. Lizzie and children went home in evening. cool mornings and evenings.

Tue Aug 23 Fine and bright untill late in afternoon a little shower first 2 lb box candy for several weeks. only stopped harvest for a short time. Annie here

Wed Aug 24. Fine and quite cool. I called to see Mis Wibcocks and Mrs Wilson in afternoon.

Thur Aug 25. Fine and bright an ideal day. I went to Toronto at Hipp and then went over to the Island about 3.30 and called to see Mrs McDonald. left at 8.30. they are coming to Toronto 21 Sept.

Fri Aug 26. Fine and bright. I walked to Willies in the afternoon. some are travelling on the new road to the second now.

Sat Aug 27. Fine at first then about 6.P.M. started to rain gently and cleared. 4 - open. about 8.30, very cool. Horticultural show. Mrs D. Annie and I for tea. 23 cts. sandwich, tea and cake. home in the eve.

Sun Aug 28. Fair and dull. I went to church. the third sunday Mr Noble was away. Mrs Simpkins died at noon. Mrs Davidson and I for a walk. for a walk with girls in eve.

Mon Aug 29. Rained steadily most of day, ground well soaked first good rain for five weeks her ("July 23") Mrs D. and I called at Mrs Simpkins. rather cool.

Tue Aug 30. Dull and damp most of day. us went to cemetry. Charlie and misses Johnson at Annies in eve.

Wed Aug 31. Fine bright and moderately warm, a perfect day. I went to {Ex} down on 9.17. home about 5: P.M. day of big swim, started 8.30. furst fubusg 8.15 : P.M. Annie away at Niagara with Bridge pic-nic home. 2.15 P.M.

Thur Sept 29. Very warm and sultry. cleaned kitchen and finished back kitchen. cleaned outside of windows. at Boyles for cards in the eve. three tables, heavy storm about 6. P.M and another one about 11. very warm no need of fire.

Sun Dec 25. Fine clear and cold. a perfect day. at morning church. no evergreen decoration. Mr Noble took service first since Nov 6 away sin sundays. Mrs D. in early with presents. before & home. she and children went to Swansea. I went to eve church.

Mon Dec 26. Fine bright perfet day. not quite so frosty. I went for a drive to R.H. when Wylie took Mrs Mason up. te children remained at Annies.

Tue Dec 28. Fine and mild untill evening became showery. Annie, Lizzie and the children for tea. I went to Christmas tree at Laugstaff school in evening. my cold ot so well.

Thur Dec 29. Dull and very mild getting mudy. Hazel Gordon died.

Fri Dec 30. Dull and very mild. Lizzie and chldren went home. all except Margeret.

Sat Dec 31. Rained gently all day after snow in the night making it very, very slushy. I went down to Cemetry to Hazel funeral. a terrible day. Annie went to Lizzies for dinner and to Hart House Iheatre in afternoon.Mrs Davdson called with wine in the evening. I cooked geese. one in Mrs D's oven.

for 3 hours and one in my oven for 2 1.2 hours. at Annies for the night have been there since before Christmas.
