Mon Jan 24. Fine and moderately cold. Mrs mable called. Went to Vestry meeting. Back to Annie’s for night.
Tue Jan 25. Fine and moderately cold. a little light snow. I went on the 2.57 Car to New Market. 90 or 95 cents return got 9.27 to Bradford. Single 30 cts. Jennies funeral service 2 P.M. at the Church. I came home with Mrs Strongs. Left tea to sip and home twenty to six then back to Annie’s for this night.
Wed Jan 26. Fine and extreme change to 20 and 22 below zero then during day 11 below was the highest. 7–18 below most of day. 20 at eleven P.M. then remained like that. Charlie had ears frozen.
Thur Jan 27. Fine bright and cold. 20 below in the morning then railed to above zero. Charlie got ears frozen - did not - to the Doctors this morning. I called at mess days in afternoon.
Fri Jan 28. Very mild, little wet snow. I went to call to see Sylia Wilson. 6 Ballots. Mr. Frank Lauderdale called here, non important.
Sat Jan 29. Very mild and slushy. Mrs Davidson and I to tea. Then city. But not very good. Sorrows class was there. Annie came. Mrs D. home all week with sore leg.
Sun Jan 30. Very mild and watery and icy. I went to Church. a very high wind terrifies not out for a walk. Into Mrs Davidsons in the evening.
Mon Jan 31. Fine and rather mild. See Charlie when things rub to one. I took baby jacket to Mrs Broses for mayores, see terribles
