I went on the 2.57 Car to New Market. 90 or 95 cents return got 9.27 to Bradford. Single 30 cts. Jennies funeral service 2 P.M. at the Church. I came home with Mrs Strongs. Left tea to sip and home twenty to six then back to Annie’s for this night. Wed Jan 26. Fine and extreme change to 20 and 22 below zero then during day 11 below was the highest. 7–18 below most of day. 20 at eleven P.M. then remained like that. Charlie had ears frozen. Thur Jan 27.
