== April 1934 == 8th Sun. Fine. My Mothers birth-day. Elizabeth & the rest to church in afternoon. 9th Mon. Fine. Father took Elizabeth in early A.M. cleaned our kitchen 10th Tue. Fine. The ice started to move down about 4 O'clock. Harold here for tea as his people went to Kingston. 11th Wed. Poured rain & windy. The folks are cleaning the cellar. 12th Thur. Snowed & cold. Cleaned kitchen. 13th Fri. Cold, blustery in A.M. Men raked door yard. Flora Sloan here all day. Father went for Elizabeth in afternoon. Elizabeth to Adolphustown to a dance. 14th Sat. Fine. We all went to Kingston. Elizabeth got dress & shoes. Father had teeth out. Horace & Mary here in Eve. played cards. 15th Sun. Fine. Elizabeth & Mabel went to church in A.M. Elizabeth didn't come home she went in to Wrights. Margaret walked down with her in afternoon.
