1st Mon New Years Day. Cold snow flurries. Played cards. Elizabeth getting ready for school
2nd Tues Bright, cold. In afernoon Frank took Elizabeth to her school & I went up to Ethels & stayed until he came back
3rd Wed Cold. I was over to Jim Carrolls in afternoon. Ethel & family here in Eve. Played cards
4th Thurs Cold east wind. Our folks went to Bath in afternoon
5th Fri Rained. I was up to Mrs Carrolls in afternoon
6th Sat Cloudy. Roads very icey. Ernest Young in a few minutes
7th Sun Fine icey. Elizabeth not home this week. I went up to Ethels for dinner. I went up with Vaughan. The Watts family here for tea
8th Mon Fine. Washed. In afernoon Mabel & I walked up to Margarets
9th Tues Fine. Mabel went down to Mrs Youngs W I Institute

10th Wed Very dark. Mabel walked back to Pykes
11th Thur Dark day. Mabel walked up to Ethels for the day, they brought her down in Eve
12th Fri Fine. I went to town with Ethel. Father & Horace went for Elizabeth & Mary. Roads fairly good
13th Sat Snowed. Had wood saw men for dinner. I had sick headache & sick stomach I went to bed at noon. Edna Morrow here for tea. Kenneth came for her in Eve. Elizabeth busy with books
14th Sun Colder. Elizabeth & our folks went to church in afternoon. Elizabeth & Mabel up to Claringbolds in Eve

19th Fri Blustery. He didn't go for Elizabeth he thought roads were too bad. Ethel here finished her quilt in afternoon. Horace & Mary here in Eve
20th Sat Very cold. Folks to Bath in afternoon. I was over to Jim's
21st Sun Cold east wind. Mabel went to church in a.m. Elizabeth & the Smiths were there & came on down & spent the day. Did jigsaw puzzles
22nd Mon Rained in afternoon. Got tickets ready to draw for the blanket
23rd Tues Cold. Cleaned stove pipes, a man in & fixed my machine. Mabel went to the hall & had machine fixed
24th Wed FIne. Ethel & children here for tea. Up to the hall in Eve getting ready for ?
7th Sat Light snow, cleared. Elizabeth & Mabel went up the road in afternoon. Elizabeth went to Helen & Mabel to Mrs Roddicks. Elizabeth went to show in eve with some more, Ethels here we played cards
8th Sun Rained turned cold in afternoon. Elizabeth & our folks went to church in afternoon
9th Mon Very cold, 20 below zero. Father & Horance took Elizabeth & Mary in early a.m. Roads were alright
10th Tues Bright, very cold 12 below zero. Lean Gwen here in afternoon. I was over to J Carrolls for jigsaw

1st Thur. Cold.
2nd Fri. Bright, very cold. Father + Horace went for Elizabeth & Mary, then they went on to Bath took Elizabeth to meet folks from the Island, as she went over to spend the weekend & take in the dance.
3rd Sat. Very cold. Father went to town with Wilfred. Tom & Leah here in afternoon. I went over to Jims for a puzzle.
4th Sun. Snowed some, cleared, very cold. Elizabeth came about 4 O'clock.
5th Mon. Very cold. Father & Horace took the girls in early A.M. We washed.
6th Tue. Cold. We {??ined} & mended.
7th Wed. cold. Ethel here all day we did her quilt. Father & his man went to Bath.
8th Thur. Very cold. 38 {degree} below zero., no body on the road.
9th Fri. Bright cold. Horace went for {Elizabeth? - rest is too dark to read}

In eve Elizabeth went to Bath to a dance.
10th Sat. Bright, cold. Mabel + I up to Mellvins in afternoon. Helen + Margaret here in afternoon.
11th Sun. Stormy. Elizabeth went in a.m. with Franks when they went to Adolphustown roads got bad in afternoon. Mabel to church.
12th Mon. Light snow. Euchre & dance at the hall.
13th Tue. Bright, cold. Mable up to Ethels for the day.
14th Wed. Stormy. Wilfred brought Mabel home in afternoon.
15th {Thurs?} Cold.
16th Fri.. Very cold, bright. I was over to J. Carrolls, didnt go for Elizabeth as couldn't get through with the car.
17th Sat. Bright. Cold. 20° below early in a.m.
18th Sun. Fine. Folks to church in A.M. In afternoon I walked up to Mrs Chapmans phoned to Elizabeth & in to Margarets for tea, they brought me home at 11 O clock.

1st Thurs. Fine. Bright. Ralph Sills came down for me in a.m. I was up all day walked home in Eve when they came to church.I talked to Elizabeth at {Mrs. Chapman's?}. Mabel up to church in Eve.
2nd Fri. Fine warmer like Spring, rained near night. Elizabeth walked down to Mary's school & came with her. Mary had a horse & cutter, she got home 5.30.
3rd Sat. Mild. Elizabeth here. {T. Gueren?} called.
4th Sun. Very mild. water running every where. Elizabeth & folks to church in A.M. In afternoon Elizabeth & Father went to {Dorland?} with horse & cutter.
5th Mon. Mild. Cloudy. The mailman had a buggy this morning.
6th Tue. Fine, mild.
7th Wed. Cold. We were up to Claringbolds in Eve.
8th Thur. Cold, blustery at times. Mabel to church in Eve

9th Fri. Bright, cold. I went to Napanee with Ethels to stay a few days.
10th Sat. Cold bright. I was in town Elizabeth down to Aunt Emmas for tea with me.

12th Mon. Bright. I came home with Bob Wright, got home at noon.

22nd Thur. Real cold. Folks to Napanee. I phoned to Elizabeth in Eve from Mrs {Phippins??.} 23rd Fri. Cold lively & bright. Folks went to Kingston for a calf and then in to Dorland for Elizabeth.
24th Sat. Snowed. Margaret & Helen walked down about dark. Ackermans came in for tea & to play 500.
25th Sun. Bright. Edna Morrow in. Elizabeth & the folks went to church in afternoon.
26th Mon. Fine. Father took Elizabeth in early morning.
27th Tue. Rained. Ethel here all day making Mabel a dress. They were all here for tea played 500.
28th Wed. Fine. Wilfred helping with roof in chicken house they stayed for tea played 500.
29th Thur. Fine. Father went for Elizabeth about 3 O'clock. she has a cold & sore throat.
30th Fri. Cold wind. Elizabeth & Mabel to church in A.M. Hubert came up for Mabel to go down.

31st Sat. Fine. rained in Eve. Father took Elizabeth & I to town Elizabeth got her Easter hat. Elizabeth has nasty cold. Elizabeth & I saw first robin this year on a post. End of Month.
April
1st Sun. Easter Day. Cloudy. Elizabeth Father & I wewnt to Kingston, down to Minnies for dinner, & got Mabel home about 6 O'clock.
2nd Mon. Clearing. Elizabeth to Bath in Eve to a dance Mabel got 200 chicks.
3rd Tue. Rained in Eve. The Watts family up in Eve to play cards. they left about 12 O'clock for home.
4th Wed. Fine. Elizabeth walked up to sils & Wrights for the day. B.Wrights brought her home in Eve she was sick up there Ackermans here in Eve they played 500.
5th Thur. Fine. Elizabeth up to the hall in afternoon & again in Eve as they had a {feed?} for the {??sing} side.
6th Fri. Misty in A.M. sme fog. Madeline Young came for dinner she & Mabel went up the road in afternoon.
7th Sat. Fine. Elizabeth & I up to Mary C in Eve

8th Sun. Fine. My Mothers birth-day. Elizabeth & the rest to church in afternoon.
9th Mon. Fine. Father took Elizabeth in early A.M. cleaned our kitchen
10th Tue. Fine. The ice started to move down about 4 O'clock. Harold here for tea as his people went to Kingston.
11th Wed. Poured rain & windy. The folks are cleaning the cellar.
12th Thur. Snowed & cold. Cleaned kitchen.
13th Fri. Cold, blustery in A.M. Men raked door yard. Flora Sloan here all day. Father went for Elizabeth in afternoon. Elizabeth to Adolphustown to a dance.
14th Sat. Fine. We all went to Kingston. Elizabeth got dress & shoes. Father had teeth out. Horace & Mary here in Eve. played cards.
15th Sun. Fine. Elizabeth & Mabel went to church in A.M. Elizabeth didn't come home she went in to Wrights. Margaret walked down with her in afternoon.

18th Wed. Perfect Spring day. Mabel & I up to W.A. in afternoon I went on to Ethels for tea Mabel walked up in Eve we played 500 & Wilfred brought us down.
19th Thur. Fine. Our folks went to town in afternoon. Wilfred in a minute.
20th Fri. Fine. Cleaned my room. Father & I went for Elizabeth in afternoon. Elizabeth up to {A.Y.P.A.?} in Eve.
21st Sat. Fine. cold. Elizabeth, Father & I went to Kingston. Father got the rest of his teeth out. Mabel has a bad back.
22nd Sun. Fine. Elizabeth to church in A.M. the Bishop was here Elizabeth & I down to see M. Cadman in afternoon.
April 1934
23rd Mon. Partly cloudy. Father took Elizabeth in early A.M.
24th Tue. Cloudy. I was over to J. Carrolls.
25th Wed. Real cold. Father & I went to town in afternoon he wanted.seed wheat. Edna Morrow in.
26th Thur. Terrible wind, real cold. I was up to Mrs Carrolls in afternoon.
27th Fri. Rained some & snowed. Father went for Elizabeth in afternoon Evelyn came after school. & we four went up to the hall to a Presentation for Maurice & Marjorie. had a big crowd. they all had a good time.
28th Sat. Cold, snowed some. Elizabeth up to hall in afternoon helping clean it up. I finished Elizabeth's room. Started in the {land?}
29th Sun. Bright, chilly. Elizabeth & our folks to church in afternoon. Father & I took Elizabeth in Eve
30th Mon. Grand. Washed. I was invited up to Margarets for tea.
May 1934.
1st Tue. Grand. I cleaned the spare bed - room.
2nd Wed. Grand. Mabel& I took pipes down. she cleaned her room.
3rd Thur. Grand. I finished cleaning the hall.
4th Fri. Perfect; like summer. Horace & Mabel went to town. Mary. C. brought Elizabeth after & they were early as it was Arbor day.
5th Sat. Terrible wind. Elizabeth forgot her little trees at Smiths, so she got on Frank Hains milk truck & went up for them. she & Mabel planted them she had 20.
6th Sun. Fine. Elizabeth & our folks to church in A.M. Ethel & family here in afternoon. Miss Perry came in afternoon. In Eve the girls & Mabel went to Bath church. F. Guirens & family here in Eve.
7th Mon. Windy. Miss Perry took Elizabeth in early A.M. to Dorland Miss Perry left about 10 O'clock.
May, 1934.
8th Tue. Cool, windy. Cleaned sitting room. Mobel to W.I. at Mrs Haights. Mary Cadman died to-night.
9th Wed. Cool. cloudy. Mabel & I down to Thurstins in afternoon Edna Mae was there.
10th Thur. Fine. Father & Mabel down to Mary's funeral. Cleaned dining-room.
11th Fri. Real cool. Mary C. brought Elizabeth & Mrs Smith. Mrs Smith came for Play, but there was no Play just Dance the girls went up with Edna & Kenneth.
12th Sat. Real cool. Father not in the {land?} as he is not well. I went to Napanee in Eve with Ackermans. Elizabeth has a sore throat.
13th Sun. Cloudy. Real cool. Ethel & family here in afternoon. Elizabeth & Mabel went to church in Eve, this is Mother's day.
14th Mon. Fine, warmer. Elizabeth walked up to Mary C. in early morning to go to her school with her. Our folks went to town as they shipped their pigs.

21st Mon. Showery. Father & I took Elizabeth in early A.M.
22nd Tu. Showers I was over to J. Carroll in Eve. a lively mom {light - night?}.
23rd Wed. Cool, bright. up to the hall in afternoon to an Institute meeting, the speaker Miss Guest came home with us.
24th Thur. Fine, cool. Miss Guest left about 11.30. Father & I went for Elizabeth about 5 O'clock as she taught today 24th May.
25th Fri. Grand. Ethel's took Elizabeth & I to Kingston, had a good day got home about 6 O'clock. Ethel, Elizabeth & I got white hats. Elizabeth played ball in the {Cimmins?} in Eve.
26th Sat. Grand. Our folks to town in A.M. Elizabeth & Mabel put Glads in. Elizabeth tired so we went to bed early.
27th Sun. Perfect. Elizabeth at lessons. Elizabeth to church in Eve. Watts here.

23rd Mon. fair. Alice Irwin washed. I ironed. Mabel & I rode all eve for pleasure. Fed at Mayers. Mabel here in afternoon.
24th Tues. fair. Eliz. & Mabel & I rode all Eve for pleasure.
25th Wed. fair, very warm. Elizabeth & I were in Sayreton. Eliz. to have a bath in Eve. Mabel & I had dinner at Civil’s. Eliz. had a place planned where we did not go there today.
26th Thurs. fair. Elizabeth at Myrlene’s all day. Played ball in Eve. We went to the show. Mabel went to show.
27th Fri. fair. My birth day. Elizabeth at Myrlene’s all day. Edna here this. Elizabeth & I rode and it was warm. Cooler now.
28th Sat. fair, very warm. Went Caples here. Elizabeth at Myrlene’s she came home. Mabel & I to show in Eve. Had a fair night.

29th Sun. fair & cool. The folks took Uncle Caples down to Muncie. Elizabeth went to church in A.M. Mabel here in afternoon.
30th Mon. fair. Elizabeth at Myrlene’s. Washed.
31st Tues. fair. Very dry. We ironed. Mabel’s birth day.
August 1934
1st Wed. fair & warm.
2nd Thurs. fair. Had Norman & Beulah & family for dinner. Mabel & I had fried chicken. Elizabeth at Myrlene’s, rode to Fairview at night.
3rd Fri. fair & warm. Elizabeth ironed after we had all cleaned up.
4th Sat. fair & cool. Elizabeth went up to Bath in Eve. I did some baking. Elizabeth making cakes.
5th Sun. fair & cool. Played ball with the folks. Elizabeth to Myrlene’s in Eve.
6th Mon. fair & warm. Elizabeth went to Bath to visit Mrs. Brown. I ironed & done work. Mrs. Barker here.
7th Tues. fair & warm. I take ride to town. We washed. Had a hard rain. The washing made a mess in Eve.
8th Wed. fair. Busy & washing looks the same.

9th Thurs. fair. Mabel & I left after dinner. Eliz. had a ball game in Eve, we all went.
10th Fri. fair & warm. folks came over for supper. John Law.
11th Sat. fair & hot. Catherine & Eda visited here A.M. Mabel & I to T. Farmers Fair in Sayre. Bath in P.M. Elizabeth went to Fairview.
12th Sun. fair & hot. Alice came for the night. We all home.
13th Mon. fair & hot. I sent photos to Frances H. & Mabel & Eliz. ironed & washed. Ella Freeman here from the church. Bathers in Eve. Elizabeth returned to Myrlene’s in Eve.
14th Tues. fair & hot. Alice left in Eve to B. Beulah’s in P.M.
15th Wed. fair & hot. Eve. Washed. Elizabeth wrote letters.

16th Thurs. fair. Elizabeth & the folks took their children to the fair. All out to Cameron to ball game in Eve.
17th Fri. fair. I went up to Eda’s & spent the day. They brought me home. Elizabeth to Bath. Catherine went to play ball.
18th Sat. fair. Elizabeth home working. Verda & Elizabeth went to town in Eve with Eda.
19th Sun. fair & warm. Thunder shower in Eve. Elizabeth & new folks too. Folks here.
20th Mon. fair & cooler. I went to K. Mrs. I was at Eda’s for dinner. Elizabeth washed & ironed. Rodella here in afternoon.
21st Tues. fair. Mabel & Mildred to L. for two wks. We had a ball in Eve. Elizabeth & Mabel & I to Bessie’s birth. We came home tomorrow.
August 1934
24th Fri. fair & cool. Mabel & Reddick here in A.M. Elizabeth had the car in oil, got her driver’s. The girls were in A.M. Madeline Young came home with them. Madeline & I went after milk to the hill in Eve.
25th Sat. fair & cool. All here. Busy.
26th Sun. fair & cool. Elizabeth washed all day. All the girls went to church in A.M. Mrs. Oswald came in Eve for the girls & all here in Eve. We got things ready for the hall. Had 11 for tea.
27th Mon. fair & cool. I & folks took Madeline to Bath in A.M. Elizabeth & I straightened up the house.
28th Tues. fair. Elizabeth & I washed. Our folks went to Kingston Yacht at Margaret’s. Terrible hot.
29th Wed. fair & nice. Frances here in Eve.
30th Thurs. fair. Elizabeth studied with Trivial in A.M. & all worked. Our folks went to Hoover’s.

30th Sun. cloudy & cold. Elizabeth & our folks to church in Eve.

30th Fri. Rained. I came home at noon with Wilfred. Elizabeth went to town with Wilfred. Elizabeth Mabel & up to Euchre at hall in Eve, had 12 tables. Mabel got a prize.
