16th I went down letter Kellars job Marker Jack Leeder & I had a settlement I owe him $48.88 cts out of Phelps cheque for $105.00 this settles us in full to completion of Drew monument I am to erect it on Friday of this week I paid Wilfred Eastwood in full for taxes $10.00 got 17 cts worth of meat went for a short drive with cutter was a cold day have left to-night 45 cts I notified McFarland that we did not want house onger than Jan. 17th I got a loaf of bread 6 cts got $60.00 out of Bank paid Jack Leeder wife balance due him on Phelps job $48.88 after keeping what he owed me I took over some coal and kept the fire going in the house we are to get went up to Howe Island this after noon to Henry Cook got home at 8 paid 50 cts for Ferrying across & back was a nice day.
