I came out to Robt. Dixons Francis Campbell & I worked at Dixon foundation all the after-noon was a nice day I have to-night in cash $15.04

7 I finished Dixon foundation and Kirkpatricks had dinner & lodging at Harry Sleeths to-night sold John Sleeth an $85 job this eve was a nice day

9 built Boal foundation got done at 2 O'Clock had dinner at H. Sleeths paid my bill in full $1.00 Mr Boal paid me for lettering done on Jardine stone $4.86 I owe him 11 cts I left H Sleeths about three came out to Glen Burney called at Robt. Orr Mrs Orr agreed to drop me a card when her mother-in-law came to visit them in about two weeks time I came on to Cunninghams corner 15 cts for a feed of oats 46 cts for 2 lbs of meat

9 I went to Town this morn paid for 100 Bran $1.35 35 cts for ginger & mustard gave Mrs Dewolf $1.00 for rent for barn rent to start Oct. 14th 10 cts shave

10th I went to town this morn with 13 chickens we got $4.90 cts for them I Pol. 4 footstone & lettered 3 It misted rain some to day I got $1.00 worth of Groceries 10 cts for cigarettes paid G.L. Johnson $1.30 I owed him I mailed a letter to Miss Preston some fish bone & a P Card to Wm Bilton 10 cts for stamps 5 cts for P. Cards have left to night I paid J. Leeder 10.00 I owed him I gave Mary $5.00 have left 12.85 cts after this I paid Mily Greenisen in full to night $1.00 for Milch drawing

13th I came to Town got Gillespie Marker & footstone ready took them & Thomson footstone up & set them Gillespie is $4.00 Thomsons $1.00 had dinner at B. Shields 35 cts was a cool day

14th Webster two teams came up & Moved our things down I got a one horse rig from Webster this eve went up for some more things Rob & Alice were in to-day for dinner 15 cts for buns

31st I went over to J.C. Kenny she paid me in full $6.65 back to Ben Greens on to H.N. Lillies sold a $65.00 had dinner on to Lyndhurst seen Mr Harvey he is to let me know Monday which Des. he wants when he returns Des. I spent 20 cts came up to Rob G this eve was a nice day

4th I worked at posts alday it rained just a little to-day I wrote to a Miss Jennie O'Brien drove up to Wm McFaddens this eve after tea sold a $100 job was a lovely night have left to-night $12.05 cts 5 cts spent 20 cts.

5th I worked on posts to-day 10 cts for shave this eve I gave a little kid 5 cts was a nice day 20 cts for curry comb Joseph Humphrey paid in $8.00

6th I worked on posts to-day Mary Dora & Hubert went out home this fore noon was a nice day I went to Lecture in armoury to-night 25 cts 5 cts for laundry

7th worked on posts this fore-noon went to Lansdowne after dinner called on Mrs Dr. Shaw She agreed to remember me & F. 12th Mary & I left about four this morn for Brockville Junction on C.N.R. I came to Crosby to Geo. Church got two shoes on & a feed of oats 75 cts came on to Newboro called at Stephen Ripleys on my way up he is to be ready to give me an order.

in about three weeks had dinner at Newboro 75 cts fixed a stove for a Mrs foster 45 cts paid got a shave 10 cts was a nice day came back to Geo. Church's stayed alnight

13th I gave Geo. $1.00 owe him 25 cts yet I drove up to Ed. Wright she is to let me know which job she wants in three or four weeks I went on to John Regan's sold a $50 job back to Elgin had dinner 55 cts spent 35 cts erected Laishley job came out to Sarahs It snowed some last night & rained & snowed some to-day but snow is all gone to night have left to-night 19.04

17 I finish Young job & lettered 5 footstones 25 cts for dinner at Rest. I came up to Provincial Hotel after tea ordered some marble from V.M.Co. Through McLeod spend 15 cts was a cold day

18 I worked around the house mostly all the fore-noon 15 cts for meat $1.00 to Mrs DeWolf for rent 35 cts for hair cut & shave I left before two came out to Harry Sleeths to-night It snowed some this afternoon sent a letter to Minnie this morn have left to-night 19.00 5 cts for bolt in Buggy top

19th 35 cts for phoning to D.J Lloyd I erected Young & Kirkpatricks jobs to-day Mr Young gave me a cheque for $30.00 was a nice day but very windy

20th I went up delivered Dixon Cumpsons & Payne posts on there lots but did not set them in set Kirk footstones in Wm A. paid me in full $185.00 I paid Harry Sleeth $2.00 came on to Robt Lucy had dinner sold $115 job came on by Inverary to Glenburny

Nuttall paid me in full $5.00 I got some peanuts & candy 20 cts 55 cts for a can of syrup Wilfred Eastwood paid his note $514.86 cts This money I gave Jack Leeder was what was due him on Kirkpatrick & Young jobs I left about five came out to Rob Gambles

22nd stayed at Robs alday it was a cold rainy day

23rd I took the separator out to Sarah's got there note for $20.00 for 1 year Int. at 5 1/2 had dinner there came back to Ross G he gave me a note for $165.00 for nine Mo's at 6 % settlement in full for what he owes me 4 head of cattle & fanning mill I came down to Chas Pritchards stayed alnight was a cold day

24th I came down to Sand Bay got horse shod 1.00 had dinner at Will Austins 50 cts came on down to Henry Hunts sold a $255.00 job came home to Gan got there about seven 30 cts for supper at Resturant went up to club {illegible] played Pedro for a while was a cold day & very windy it started to thaw to night

26th I went over to Mr Clarks & R Boal back to Giles then to Battersea had dinner & Hay for horse 60 cts oats Isaac Tutles he agreed to Ask me do his job on to Rob G. for tea 5 cts for candy 1 cts for Gum have left to-night $7.40 cts.

27th I went out Steven Ripleys then to Mrs Eliza Chamberlains had dinner back she agreed to let me know before she

Bank & Jas Matthews paid $100 on his renewed the old one balance of $41.00 for 2 Mo's I left it all in the T. Bank I gave Minnie $4.30 have 25 cts for meat 5 cts tole 18 cts for bread 5 cts for candy have left to-night $4.51 cts.

29th we all went out to Rob G's this fore-noon I left $2.00 there the balance

7th Uncle Billy promised to let me hear from him when he got ready to deal for a monument I came over to Uncle Joshua got Mr Moulton we came to Athens I had dinner with a Mr Cowan got an order for a monument we came on to Rob Moultons for tea got home at ten {up side margin} was a cold day

Minnie Mildred & Hubert came in to-day I gave Mary $2.00 12 cts for bread 4 cts for milch 30 cts for meat 15 cts for cashing Mr Phelps cheque got it put to my credit $1.05 I owe Jack L. $91.50 cts of this gave Hubert 5 cts have left to-night $7.64 cts was a cool day

9th I got a bale of Hay & a bag of oats 2.15 cts Jack L paid me 15 cts he owed me was a cold day I worked on Markers it snowed some to night I got 1 qt of milch gave 10 cts this pay Mr Dustins in full for milch 11 cts for bread & buns

14th I stayed around all day took Dora & Girtie to school & home spent eve at Ross G. it snowed about 8 inches last night

15th I came down to Jims this morn had dinner & came home with buggy was a cold windy day 25 cts for oatmeal 4 cts for bread 7 cts for Milch

16th I went down letter Kellars job Marker Jack Leeder & I had a settlement I owe him $48.88 cts out of Phelps cheque for $105.00 this settles us in full to completion of Drew monument I am to erect it on Friday of this week I paid Wilfred Eastwood in full for taxes $10.00 got 17 cts worth of meat went for a short drive with cutter was a cold day have left to-night 45 cts I notified McFarland that we did not want house onger than Jan. Ist 1915

17th I got a loaf of bread 6 cts got $60.00 out of Bank paid Jack Leeder wife balance due him on Phelps job $48.88 after keeping what he owed me I took over some coal and kept the fire going in the house we are to get went up to Howe Island this after noon to Henry Cook got home at 8 paid 50 cts for Ferrying across & back was a nice day.

18th It stormed some to day I paid Mr Ketchum in full for house $1500 he took Wilfred Eastwoods not at $711.35 on it I kept furnace going to-day got 5 cts worth of Milch from Dustin a loaf of bread 6 cts I left about three O'Clock went up to a Mr Simpson then throught to Woodburn stayed alnight at Thos. Woods got there about seven O'Clock I sent bills to Mrs Sam Warren Nelson Bowers receipt to W.B. Phelps

19th I gave Mrs Woods 50 cts came home got at ten got harness repaired 45 cts 20 cts for dates 10 cts for salts & sulphur I kept furnace going to-day gave Mr Ketchum the beef he is to keep it going to Monday of next week

23rd Minnie & Rob went to Morton this fore-noon I drove over to R.E. Warners this after-noon sold a $15.00 job on to Alf. Willows below Phillipsville had tea came back to Phillipsville stayed alnight at Miss Kennedy's was a cold day I gave Minnie $2.00

24th I paid my bill 85 cts went out to Mr Thomsons he promised me his job on to Chas. Guttridge sold a set of foot $8.00 back to Ab Freemans he agreed to give me his order when he gets ready to buy came on to Mrs Ab DeLongs got Ins. & dinner on to W.T. Leggetts then to Elgin got Ins from Mrs. T. Wright 70 cts for a qt of oysters out to Morton 25 cts for biscuits 14 cts for bread 5 cts for candy was a cold day with a little snow

25th Rob & I went to church 30 cts was a cold cold day Dora went with us

30th got Martin's men to turn water on I helped Minnie some to-day we moved over most of our furniture this after-noon was a nice day 55 cts express on water front

6th I have this morn $7.24 I gave Minnie Maise & Stoliker cheque for $12.00 33 cts for bells for cutter 10 cts for sulphur & Salts I got Mainse & Stoliker cheque cashed 12.00 gave Minnie $8.00 of this I came out to Andrew's this after noon It rained all the way out I called at Mrs Jas. Galloways she agreed to see me before purchasing I stayed at Andys to night soap 20 cts.

7th It was soft to-day I came to Mrs W. Simes Am to call again next week on to Lyndhurst am to get A job ready for Mr Harvey as soon as I can out to Delta had dinner 65 cts out to Mr Alfred Willows she promised to let me know when they were ready to order it was very windy to-day

came back to Lyndhurst left horse at Sweets had tea & stayed alnight at Delbert Danbys went over sold Mrs Wm. Church a $90.00 job got a pair of mits 45 cts

8th paid my bill at Sweets 50 cts came on to B.Browns am to do some lettering for him next summer got home about noon Geo was here for dinner and went out to Jims 5 cts for nails have left to-night $8.90 was a cold day I wrote to Geo. 9th Mr. J. T. Ellis paid me in full for pasture $5.00 paid for Journals to Dec 31st 19 cts

10th I went to church in morn 25 G 5 M. Minnie went in ever was a nice day

11 I got 100 Bran $1.35 cigaretts 10 cts paid my dues in the I.O.O.F. $1.75 to Mar. 31st gave Will Bates $1.00 to pay my dues for 6 Mo's in the camp. I wrote to Liddle Bros. & T.A. Webster 4 cts for stamps was a lovely day Mr. McLeod was here this eve I ordered some marble from him

12th I have left this Morn $8.15 G.D. MacKenzie called this after-noon I ordered seven jobs from him spent 20 cts I borrowed 2 Des. from him I paid Stinden girls for a barrel of apples 2.45 25 cts for meat was a nice day

13th I came out to Mrs Wallace Simes had dinner sold $200 job had tea at R Moultons Annie came in with me

was a nice day but windy I drove buggy to-day

14th I paid for 100 of flour $3.75 Robin Wright was satisfied with short form of Ins. was a nice day

15th I sent a card to G. D. Mackenzie paid Mr Jas. Humphrey 5 cts I owed him Minnie Hubert & I went to Lansdowne I called on Mrs Dr. Shaw she is to let me know when she gets ready to order a monument had dinner at Geo. was a nice day

16th was a nice day I wrote to Geo. D. Mackenzie sent order for a Mons. & tracing for some that I had ordered 5 cts postage I got $10 out of hand $1.10 for 2 bu. oats bargained

17th It rained a lot to-day I paid for Bobs horse at Shields 50 cts went to church in morn 15 C. 5. M. got 10 cts from Mary Rob went home this eve

18th I got some Marble up from station 50 cts it rained some to-day Mr. Jackson & Mr C.V Ketchum both told me to-day that I had the perfect right to use the right away mentioned in the deed of property that I bought from the Toronto Bank I have left to-night $5.00
