No. 1 January. 1909. Jan 1. . Fri. There was a shooting contest Friday here & an oyster supper. Mama & Laura went up to Grandma's Henry had the jaundice. Jan 2. - Mr Wm. Ross died. Jan. 3 - Mr. Wright. Prescott preached here in the evening. Jan 4 - Ellection Day. Mrs. Dave Perrin & sisters came here. Choir practice here at night. Mason's night. Jan. 5 - Mr. Wm Ross was buried. Rainy & sloppy. Mama went up to Mrs. Wrights after dinner. Jan. 10 - Sunday Anna & Willard & Howard came up in the morning. I kept Howard & the rest went to church in the afternoon.
