Sept. 4. - Sat. - John Dalton is threshing this a.m. It rained all day. We separated the milk to-night. Sept 5. - Sun. - It is quite cold. We went to church this p.m. Laura + I went to St. George's this Eve. Sept. 6. - Mon. - We washed. Labor Day. Henry went up to Brockville to see the shooting contest. Laura + I went to the woods this p.m. Labor Day. Sept. 7. - Tues. - This is the 1st. Day of Brockville Fair. Mama went up to Grandma's this a.m. I ironed all day. Dr. T. Johnston stayed here all night + went to the Fair the next morning to show his colt. "Brockville Fair" Sept. 7. 8. 9.
