Sept. 29. - Wed. - The corn-cutters moved down here 10. a.m. from Mr. Lombard's. We had 12 men for dinner. Charlie came out this noon to stay till Sat. Annie went home to-night. Mr. McCallum, the engineer stayed here all night. We had 16. men for supper. Sept. 30. - Thur. It is raining, this a.m. We finished cutting this p.m. + they moved to Jno. Waltons.
