Oct. 5. - Tues. - They finished cutting at Mr. H. McKinley's to-night. We washed + made grape catsup this p.m. Bessie Ross was worse yesterday, but is much easier to-night. Oct. 6. - Wed. - I went up to Grandma's this morning on a milk-rig. Will stay tiill to-morrow Eve. Was down to Mr. S. Cole's + telephoned to mama this p.m. Oct. 7. - Thur. - We gathered milk-weeds this p.m. Henry came up to-night + I came home. Oct. 8. - Fri. - It is beautful out these days + quite warm. "The sisters" were here to-day collecting for the hospital. Mrs. R. Bishop + I gathered milk-weeds this p.m. Henry was threshing at Will Read's to-day.
