June 1 - Wed. - We took th carpet up in the dining-room this p.m. I planted sweet-pears this {p.m.?} {and?} set out {illegible}. Mrs. {illegible} Walkton was up this {illegible} for her plants.
June 2. - Thurs. - We cleand the dining-room I put the carpet down. Florence {manhand?} came up to go over to {Wesley?} Woods to {choir?} - practice to-night. It is quite cold {and?} rainy.
June 3. - Fri. - {Rung?} George II's birth-day. It {illegible} {cleared or cleaned?} off-time, but is cold to-night. We {illegible} the dining- room to-day. I set out the celery plants this a.m.
