July 5. – Tues. – Arnie, Mrs Dalton, Mary, Allen & I went to the neighborhood picnic at the river 1 p.m. on our ~~own~~ milk-buggy & with Dalton’s horse. Mama kept Howard. Elsie, & children & Edith Walter came out also. We had a fine time. July 6. – Wed. – It is a nice day, but very dry & warm weather. July 7. – Thur. – It has been rainy all day. Luella Daniels & Bessie Carson drove up to Warners this a.m. They came up here just before starting home. Choir practice to-night at Mrs. V. Wells’, but I could not go on account of my cold.
