== August == Aug. 1 - Mon. - We washed. Papa + mama went to town this p.m. Elsie, Hyne, + children came out this Eve. also 12 young people were here ^ this Eve to practise a dialogue for our social. Aug. 2. - Tues. - I ironed some. Jssie B. + I collected eggs to make ice cream for the social I stayed up to Grandma's + went over to Mrs. P. Word's to choir practise this Eve. I came home with Warner's We were treated to ice cream + cake. Aug. 3. - Wed. - Mama went up to Mrs. Bishop's this a.m. on an errand + I ironed. We made our fruit cake this p.m. Had my head washed. It is very warm.
