== August == Aug. 1. - Tues. - D.D. picnic this p.m. I went down to the presbyterian church this p.m. to practice & went to the picnic afterward. Aug. 2. - Wed. - "Presbyterian Social" very stormy looking but did not rain much. Henry & I went. Had a fine time. Aug. 3. - Thur. - Papa met Aunt Sarah at Brockville 8 p.m. Aug. 4. - Fri. - Very, very warm. Mr. Kyle bound the last pieces of grain this p.m. Aug. 5. - Sat. - Willard went to Niagara to-night & Annie & Howard will stay up here till Mon. Aug. 6. - Sun. - Papa took Aunt Sarah to Shepherd's this a.m. S.D. & church this p.m. Annie, Howard, & I went.
