Sept. 26. - Tues. - Cutting corn here to-day & finished 3.30 p.m. & moved to Mr. Jesse Easton's. Annie & Howard were here & helped get dinner. Beautiful night. Quite cold. Rec.d a letter from J.D. & card from Eva Mc. Sept. 27. - Wed. - Washed & picked pears. Finished cutting corn at Mr. Jesse Easton's to-night. Sept. 28. - Thur. - Moved our cook-stove in this noon. Laura & I went to the Woods this p.m. I went to choir practice at Warner's to-night.
