Oct. 17. -Tues.- Mama spent the day at Grandma Manhard's, annie & Howard Mrs. Bishop & I were up to the church this p.m. & swept it & dusted. Papa & Henry went to the sale of Holstein cattle at Gordon Manhards this p.m. Very windy this p.m. also rained tonight. Ms Geordie Landons husking (?) bee (?) tonight. Henry went to it. Oct. 18 - Wed.- Rainy this a.m. Mama went to the ladies aid at Mrs. A.P. Bissells this p.m. Henry & I drove to Wesley Woods for choir practise this Eve.
