Feb. 27. - Tues. - Stormy all day. Jno. Beattie was here this Eve. Mr. Osborne Ohave's barn was burned this Eve. (8.45. started). All of the men went over, but couldn't save any cattle just the horses. 20 cows. burned. Feb. 28. - Wed. - Washed. Mama is 58 to-day. Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Kyle, Papa, Mama, & I drove over to Mr. Harris McDougall's 3.30 p.m. & Mr. & Mrs. no. Dalton drove over 5 p.m. Mr. Kyle's & ourselves went in a sleigh & had lots of fun. Had a dandy time. Arrived home 1.30.a.m. Beautiful Night.
