== March /12.== March. 1. - Fri. - Ironed & did the upstairs work. Henry & Willard went to Morristown this p.m. Beautiful weather. March 2. - Sat. - Busy. Walked down to Annie's 4 p.m. & remained till 6.30 Eve & stopped at Mrs. Beattie's & helped her do some burning. Henry came down to Jno also. Papa & Hyne drove to N. Augusta this morn & look at cattle. March. 3. - Sun. - Service 2.30 p.m. Howard stayed with Papa. All the rest went. Rec'd our ballots to vote on "Church Union." Annie, Wlilard, & Howard remained here till after supper. Retired early.
