We rose 4 a.m. & papa drove Jean & I to Maitland 5. 30 a.m. & we went to {illegible} on the 6. 20 train. (also Eva C. got on at B.) Had a nice ride + arrived at Mary {illegible} about 6.45 a.m. I went up to Daniel's 8.15 a.m. & {illegible} & I came back to Mary's 9.15 a.m. went to the Consent 10 a.m. finished our written papus & Eva played this a.m. I played 2 p.m. & we had a nice walk. Came to M. {9.20?} p.m. & papa met us there.
