Thursday 29th Dec.1904 fair	Cattle passed the test all right. And we put them on car this morning they were very wild. I had breakfast with McDougalls and dinner wtih Dr Brown left Sarnia about 2 P.M. and arrived home abbout 6 30 P.M. Car fare 05 pd livery man 500 for loading and unloading cattle I Shipped E.P. 	Tuesday 17th fine	We did chores Treated the sick bull & hauled Turnips Sold two rams to Hales for $1000. A Mr Needham from England came today looking for work he is to start next Saturday at $10 per month.		1.00 .15

	Thursday 26th fine & cold	We Chored in morning & we went to mill in Afternoon 15 full of oats & 13 empty Went to Hendersons & got meat cut up. We had a talk on the School question
	Friday 27th Stormy	We did Chores and cut a little wood. Dr Reed came out to see Bull and we decided that if he was not better tomorrow to kill him.
	Saturday 28th fair	We did chores & Skinned & Examined bull we found that the impaction had been mostly removed but that there was a thickening of the tissues between liver & third Stomach. Shed a Small absess which Dr Reed thought caused the trouble I went to mill got corn & oat chop Pd for 28 bgs 1.40

	Friday 31st fine	We did chores & I finished clipping show sheep and also dipped all that were clipped Mr Bruder came to. buy colt & Take away cow. he is to pay $50 for cow as soon as he can June at latest And has promised to take colt Victoria of Elm Park next week probably Thursday. And will pay $100 when he gets money from Railway for track, through his farm and tho $50 in a year and $50 more when she has her first foal fall If he loses both mare & Foal on Foaling he has not to pay the $50 but if one of them lives he still has to pay the fifty dollars	May. 27 / 05 Mr Bruder pd $10000 today on account

	Thursday. 12th Dull	I finished plowing No 4 & Started 6. Father plowing 6. We also took up some potatoes one load. We lost a shearling ram fighting. Mr Lowe was here today and made me an offer on two heifers but we have not closed the bargain yet.
