aug 3 The Huffman boys is here laying up blocks for the basement. AS

aug 7 ironed thie morning. Ross came to go over. The river dwert out to town and down to over Cornfield. this afternoon A.S
aug 8 got named last night our shade leaked. Charles went over the river with Ross. A.S
aug 9 got the studding up Wednesday for the house Lyle was out to-day and helped Charles put on sheeting.
aug 10 made my first cookie today. since we moved in our shack on Clinton St. I went to town and got permit to put in sewer A.S.

aug 11 Mid Sat cleaning and ironed the boys put up the forms in the house today and one from father A.S
12 rained last night. we went to church this morning. Charles Wesley and I wnet to the Baptist Church this evening.
13 washed this morning. The boys have all the matters up and sheeting the ends we insured the house today. Lyle is here. A.S
14 ironed this morning the boy is sheeting the roof.
15 It is cleaning day. Mr. Huffman come and put up chimney. Charles went and got our shoes from the shoe shop. AS
16 I am going to amherstburg to-day. I have got lonesome. AS
17 I am at Horacorn yesterday. Oleta, Walker and some others went to mend last night AS
18 The boys has part of one side shucles. I got home in time to get supper last night. Mend and Roy and children was here to-day.

aug 20 The plumber put in rough plumbing today. I washed. The boys was thrashing.
aug 21 I went out to town. down to see Mrs Jameson and Mrs Peney. It rained and was quite cold. AS
aug 22 nice and bright today. The boys have most all the chingles on AS
aug 23 Aunt Millie was in last evening. The Huffman boys got the basement floor ready for the cement floor. Charles went to Wigle Park to see them fly kites this afternoon. AS
aug 24. Mr Huffman is here finishing up basement floor. I am going down to see Elsie this afternoon. AS
aug 25 Sat. went and got coal out this morning. Have to burn lamps . do not feel like working this afternon.
aug 26 Sunday Charles went to Sunday school. I went to Howard St Church AS

aug 28 finished shoving this morning. Charles and Lule took down the shack. Wesley earned the lumber over to the house AS

Sept 6 Put up curtains. I wnet out and had four or five teeth pulled out , took gas did not know any thing about them coming out, git a letter from Ethel today. had alundry tubs put in sept 6 AS
Sept 7 did some baking this morning. Alberta was in today, oras mason was in to see us Tuesday Spt 4. AS
Sept 8 It is monday to day. I put the books in the desk today, caned some apples and making some jellie put any plate in my mouth today.
Sept 9 quite cool we went to Howard St Church this morning and went for a walk this afternoon. Charles, Wesley and I went to the South and mission this evening. AS
Sept 10 a nice bright day. I washed and cleaned up the house. Wesley went down to Ross's on the bus at noon AS
Sept 11 I moved today went down town this afternoon. To San Casters to get tomatoes and fruit. meet miss duboor in Smith's stove

Sept 16. a nice day, cool. We went to church in the morning, Wesley back down to Thomas with Colin. Millie. George and Lyle. I went with them for a ride. was in to see Dather for anout 30 minutes. He had a stroke this week. AS

Oct 18 Father could not walk wed. without help. He is better today. I stayed alnight at Bertie. AS
Oct 19 it rained last night. I stayed at Bertie and came home on the bus from Harrow got home in time to get dinner.

Nov 9 a nice day. I washed covers off feathers bed and mattress this morning went down town this afternoon
