Sept. 1. Sun - Rainy. Anni Willard + Howard came up this p.m. I went up to Bissells + Bishop this eve. Electa took the mid-night train for Walpole's
Sept. 2 - Mon. - Cloudy. Washed + cooked. rainy eve.
Sept. 3 - Tues. - Dr. Thos. Johnston came out this p.m. + went to the fair 5 p.m. with his colt. I was down to Kyle's + Beattie this eve.
Sept. 4. - Wed. Mr. {Jno?} Walker was here to-day. {Joned?}. We saw the air-ship ascend 5 p.m. Rec'd a card from Elva. Mc. to-night she will come fri.
Sept. 5. - thurs. {Elsip?} {Polyne?} + children went to fait to-day. Gave Reedy a lesson + watched the aeroplane.
Sept. 6. - fri. - Cleaned up this a.m. as Elva is coming on 2.40 p.m. train. {Poleny?} + I went to town 12.30 p.m. The train was later arrive 3.20 p.m.
Went out to the fair grounds 4.30 p.m. saw the sights
Drove home 7.30 p.m.
Dr. Thos. remained here all night. Elva + I made good use of of tongues. Rec'd a letter from {E.JP.MR.?}
Sept. 7. - Sat. - Went over to Laura's + to the church this a.m. + over to Mr. Kyle's this p.m.
Choir practice this Eve.
Sept. 8 - Sun. - Went for a walk to the old place + to the woods. Went up to Briselle's this p.m. + thence to Bethel to service 7.30 eve. Elva is spending to-night with Jessie.
Sept. 9. - Mon. - Washed. Elva came home 10 a.m. We went to Mrs. Beattie this p.m. Henry came down this eve + we went down to Jean's to spend the eve.
Sept. 10. - Tues. - Made a number of calls this a.m. + were at Elsie's for dinner. Elva went to Mabel's for tea + I went home.
Sept. 11. - Wed. - Elva went to Mr. Geordie Tandon's for dinner
then this p.m. we went over to Read's Cemetery as the little Sunderland Baby was buried this p.m. We went up to Mrs. Bissell's afterward spent the evening playing games ete. also stayed all night.
Sept 12. - Thurs. - Arrived home 9.a.m. Elva went to N. Augusta 11. from with Dr. Thos. Mama is up to Ms. {Jill Easter's?} choir practise this eve.
Sept. 13. - Fri. - Cleaned up.
Sept. 14 - Set. - {illegible} to B. this
Annie + Howard have been up here all day as Annie sprained her ankle + is quite a cripple. Drove to B. Thos. eve + met the moeassin
Luella B. + I went down street. arrived home 11.30 p.m.
Sept. 15. - Sun. - J.B.LD. + I went to service 2.30 p.m. rainy. not many out. Theo was {hot?} this eve. The rain compelled us to stay in this eve. However we ate salted peanuts + sang till we were hoarse
Sept. 16. - Mon - Washed, J.LD. + I went to Beattie's this p.m. Papa took Annie + Howard home this eve.
Sept. 17. - Tues - Elsie went to B. to-day, + we kept Elva, Mr. J.L. Richies took the picture of our house this p.m.

Sept. 18. - Wed. - Rainy. Theo was married 10.30 a.m. We read + amused ourselved to-day at home. Mrs. R. Bishop, Mrs. Jno. Dalton + Georgina R Mrs. Jno. Beattie, L. D. + I walked down to St. George's this Eve to see Edith Murray married. Had a nice walk in the rain.
Sept. 19. - Thur. - Went to Mrs. Dalton's for tea. Choir practise this Eve. then I went down with my lantern for "my girl."
Sept. 20. - Fri. - rainy. Luella went to B. this morn on the stage.

Sept. 26. - Fri. - Went down to help Elsie to cook for corn cutters to-morrow.
Sept 28. - Sat. - Helped Elsie get dinner for the corn-cutters. Went to the woods for earth this p.m.

Oct. 2. - Wed. - Finished cutting here 9.30 a.m. went to Dalton's. Mama + I gathered our apples this p.m.
Oct. 3. - Thur. - Washed. I did the chamber work. Moved to J. D. Easton's this p.m.
Oct. 4. - Fri. - Did the Oat's work. Went to B. - with Theo. this p.m. (4). Auntie is better but very weak yet. Plumbers are at her place cutting corn at C. Coles this p.m.
Oct. 5. - Sat. - Helped Auntie all day. Went down street 3. p.m. saw Laura so came home with her 4.30 p.m.
Oct. 6. - Sun - Laura + I went to Stone's Corner church this morn. Rev. Mr. Montgomery Allens preached. were at Simpson's for dinner. Went to St. George's Harvest Service 3. p.m. Rev. Mr. Code N. Augusta preached. Mrs. Simpson + Mrs. Murray came up to Laura's {forte] + Florance Kyle came here went to Bethel for service 7. Eve. {Quite} a few {illegible} Heard Mr. Flora's gramophone after church.
Oct. 7. - Made pickles. I picked wild grapes.

Oct. 9. - Wed. - Washed. Mr. Henry Tousley (sr.) was here.

Oct. 11. - Fri. - Foggy. The men drew gravel for the cellar floor. Everything down cellar is picked up. Ralph Bishop came down this Eve.
Oct. 12. - Sat. - Took a lesson this morn. Moved our stove in this morn. Thunder-storm 12.30 noon. papa went to B - this p.m. Henry finished cutting corn at Robt. Stewart's this p.m.

Oct. 28. - Mon. - Cooked. Mama helped Mrs. Walker prepare supper for threshers. Edna + Gladys Landon were here thsi Eve. 'Had Taffy.' Masons night. Thanksgiivng {pat} + dance at Mr. Kyle's.

Oct. 30. - Wed. - 4 yrs. to-night since the surprise 'Bridal Party' at A. Throop's. Wilfred Barton + Eddie Welch helped us pick up potatoes (I included)
Oct. 31. - Thur. - Finished picking up potatoes 2.10 p.m. Hallowe'en spirits are out to-night.

Dec. 1. - Sun. - Elsie's birth-day. Elsie's were here this p.m. All went to service 7. Eve. excepting Mama + Howard. Sermon on the White Plague. Dec. Papa went to B. this a.m. for to send perscription to Gay + brought mama home from Grandma's.
Dec. 2. - Mon. - Rainy day. Papa went to Dublin to attend council wills Mr. J. D. Easton. Ironed to-day. Separated our milk to-night for first time.

Jan. 1. - Wed. - Howard got candy orange + a banna, + I just got an orange., from Santa. Willard arrived here just before tea + they went home this Eve.
Jan. 2. - Thur. - Ironed. Shooting Contest to-day W. Warner + Mr. John Tourley were captain's Mr. Towsley side won by 13 points. Went to the oyster supper this Eve at the hall. Had a fine time.
Jan. 3. - Fri. - Rainy. Willard was here for dinner.
Jan. 3. - (contin.) Our party at No. 40 Wall St. is upset again owing to the drenching rain. Wrote to the 'girls.'

Jan. 24. - Fri. Went up to Bishop's this a.m. Mrs. Bishop just broke out to-day with measles + is very weak.

Jan. 27. - Mon. - Beautiful Weather. Cleaned stove - pipes. Willard + Henry went to B - {to} attend Masonic Lodge of Instructions. 1.p.m. + papa went with Mr.Arthur Bissell this eve to the banquet
took a walk over to Kyles 8:30 p.m. We are alone this Eve.
Jan. - 29.- Wed. - Mama is down to Elsies to-day. the men went to the woods this p.m.
Jan. 30.- Thurs. - Finsihed pressing my skirts
Jan. 31.- Fri. - Good bye to January. Beautiful morn but rainy p.m. papa went to see Grandm Throop + was at Uncles Farettes for dinner. Thence to Auction sale at Mr. Perry Places

Feb. 1- Sat. - Took a lesson. Mama is not very well to-night
Feb. 2- Sun. - Annie, Willard + Howard came up this a.m. mama got up nearly noon. Servicr 2.30 p.m. Mr. Speers, Maynard spoke, owing to Dorothy {Preaghs} illness. She is gaining slowly.
Feb. 3. - Mon. - Washed. Mama's stomach is worse this p.m. + eve. Papa drove to B. to see the Dr. - the medicine he sent didn't do
much good.
Feb.4.- Tues. - Dr. Harding came out this morn. Annie + Howard came up. Have been busy all day. Mama is easier but very sore + is in bed
Feb.5.- Wed. - Mama got up this a.m. Annie + Howard went home after dinner. I scrubbed + cleaned up
Feb.6. - Thurs.- Henry has been chopping every day. Papa went to Mr. Jno. Dawson's sale this p.m. Mama is up + going slowly
Feb. 7.- Fri.- Mama helped me a lot to-day. Papa went to B- for coat, Henry is in the woods. Very Cold.
Feb. 8.- Sat.- Papa went toi B- to-day. Mr. Bishop was thrown off a load of hay in town + is in the hospital to-night. Mrs. A.P. Bissell + I stayed up there to-night as Mrs. Ralph Bishop is at the hospital.
Feb. 9.- Sun. - Came home 7:30 a.m. Ralph died 2.p.m. Service 7 p.m.
Feb.10- Mon - Cold. I was up to Bishop's this p.m. Choir practice here this Eve.
Feb . 11 - Tues - Aunt Jane + Uncle Hugh came here this a.m. I went up with them to the funeral at the house. Very large crowd. Stormy day but beautiful sunset. I helped Mrs. Lockwood straighten up the house + came home 5.pm. Papa is up there this Eve. Wrote to Luella + Aunt Sarah.
Feb. 12. - Wed.- Very cold. Henry is chopping.papa is up to Bishops this Eve. Gordon is here to-night. 9:30 + he hasn't started to "make tracks" yet write to Mary {Quartus} + card to Elva
Feb. 13. - Thurs.- Papa + Henry are both in town was at Mrs. Daltons on an errand. Was up to Bishop's for tea + stayed all night. Mr. Lewis (Lawyer) + Mr. Jas. Bishop's were there for tea also.
+ papa + Mr. Walker stayed all Eve till 9.30 Eve. Mrs. Bishop + I "talked the night out + the morn in"
Feb.14.-Fr. - Came home 8 a.m. Churned + picked 2 roosters. Went down to Annies 2 p.m. + walked {past} at dusk. papa is up to Bishop's this Eve.
Fev.15- Sat.- Papa was in town to-day. Very stormy, but moonlight night. Cold
Feb. 16. - Sun.- Service 2.30 pm. Not many present. Retired early
Feb. 17. - Mon.- Washed. Henry went to the wood this p.m. "Mason's Night"

March 4.- Tues.- Papa, Mrs.R.Bishop + I went to town this morn. Arrived home 12. noon. Went down to Annie's this p.m. to practise with Jean, + Jean + I drove up to G. Sanders. Jean gave Gladys a lesson. Thence to Fairfield.
March 5.- Wed.- Luella Patterson came out with Willard to-night. Will Lowsley left B- doe the west to-night.
March 6.- Thurs.- Went down to Jeans to practise this a.m. Busy +
Then Mrs.M. Dougall came here 6.30. + went to the hall with us. Also Annie + Luella Patterson Had a fine time at the "At Home" Just masons + familys. Arrived home 3.30 morn.
March 7.- Fri.- Cleaned up at the Hall this a.m. Papa went to B this p.m. Mrs. John Marshal Nellie Caldwell's grandmother was buried to-day.

March 10.- Mon.- Annie + Howard came up the morn + stayed all day. Also Charlie + Ethel this p.m. Sale at Bishops this p.m.
