<u>22</u> <u>Monday</u>. Cold. Walter helped Ella to do the washing this morning and took a load of turnips out to Alma's this afternoon. Vernon got a load of wood in the husk and broke the tongue on the sleigh. Emerson Addie, Marie and Ella called here this afternoon.

Walter and his dad went to Schofield's meeting in Elmira tonight. Vernon brought home several loads of wood from the larch.
