Thursday 2nd Dull. We worked at wood & I took mares to Sorby's in morning Went to town in Afternoon bgt 1/2 ton oil cake $1300, paid $1300 for 1/2 ton I got before. Sugar .50 other things .08

Friday 3rd Stormy & wet We worked around barn amd cellar all day.

Shearling ewe had lamb today

O.A.C. heifer bred to P of Benton
Saturday 4th Changeable & Cold We Chored & sorted potatoes in morning and Mary & I went to town in Afternoon bgt salt 135 corn $294 rubbers 80c

Monday 6th fair We worked at chores and wood. I went to town after noon. got wagon fixed 50c Chains & rod .20 hinges .44 bolts, razor strop .50

Tuesday 7th fine We did chores and I went to O.A.C. to see about man for John Mountain did not get one went to see pedigrees in herd book.

We cleaned up gateway & hauled four loads of gravel to it in afternoon.
