A real old time Christmas


H 6 Oct 2nd
Friday Dec 25th 1903 fine & Cool I took Mr Erskine & Son to Station this morning after Chores were done and let them go back to Toronto. he came quite intoxicated last night & I thought best to let him go at once. Then Geo & I did Chores. bred Elm Park Mayflower 2nd to Prince of B. Tom & family came down after dinner and spent the afternoon.
Saturday. Dec 26 cold & clear We worked at chores in morning and I went to Town in Afternoon. went to Insurance meeting recd $500, pd 612 went to Fair Ground meeting 500 6.12

Sunday Dec 27 Cold & Stormy Mother ME & I went to Church in morning heard Rev. Glasford preach on the Hopefulness of Jesus. It was very encouraging. We all stayed at home the rest of the day Lady Evangeline had cow calf by Black Warrior. bred Grade cow Rose to P of B

X 28. Tuesday. 29 fair We worked at chores and got grist ready. 15 bgs 4 wheat 11 oats, then took it to mill yesterday bgt salt $135, corn $120 at Hewers Pride of Powrie 11th had cow calf by Prince of Benton. 1.20
