Saturday Apr 2nd 1904 got two ram lambs

A Man that Called himself Smith of Carleton Place and came last night to buy some Angus cattle We spent quite a bit of time showing him stock and are now of the opinion that he is a Fake. I went to Insurance meeting some changes were made in the rules. sold 12 doz cabbage in Evening at 50c. Redarin owes us 50c Precious $100 Scroggie 70c Mitchell. 200 Hadden 100

Monday 4th fine We Chored in morning & went up to Tom's in Afternoon and also to see Mr Simpson's barn that Mr Tuck is re-building I bgt things for Children 15c pd for Halter at Metcalf's bgt bit snaps.

Tuesday 5th fine We did Chores and I hauled in two loads of potatoes 19 bgs or 60 lbs in 1st load and 2nd load 19 70/90 bgs 18.78

McCannels came for a load of hay at $700 per ton

Bred old Pride of Linemore 2nd to E.P. Master 2nd

G.D. Hood had Light Roan heifer to E.P. Master 2nd
Wensday 6th Dull McCannel gota load of hay this morning. I took two loads potatoes to Thorp, 18 bgs 70 lbs @ 98=5 $74.94 9 1/5 bgs. @ .50 4.67 bgt 12 bu Wandscluen Barley @ 55 recd $40. Onions .30 74.94 4.67 4000 .30
