| Saturday. May 14th / 04 | We hauled manure from G.T.R. Yards 5 loads & Chored rest of day it was rather wet & dull. | |||

| Monday 16th cold | I hauled manure all day and C Split wood & helped to unload. I sold bull to Mr J.C. Evans for Mr John Hodgson. Winedemoya Manitoulin Island, for $10500 to be delivered tomorrow. | |||
| Tuesday 17th fine | Frost last night I hauled two lds manure from Stock Yds & took wagon to get fixed then shipped bull to Mr Hodgson. Mr Evans as responsible for Mr Hodgson and he is to send me the money in a short time. | |||
