| Thursday Dec 1st 1904 | Attended to cattle & watched the Judging a little. |
| Friday 2nd Stormy | We looked through the Stock Yards & Swifts packing house, and saw about Testing Cattle |
| Saturday 3rd cold | We could not get cattle tested so Mr Baker and Mr Pearce decided to send them on to Canada and have them tested at Boundary lines. We loaded at 6 P.M. X Teaming cost |
| Sunday 4th cold | We spent the day on road from Battle Creek to Port Huron where we arrived about 2 P.M. then had to stay there |
| Monday 5th fine | We got across to Sarnia about noon, and left there at 4.40 P.M. We had to leave the two cattle I bought at Quarantine for three weeks. |
| Tuesday 6th fine | We arrived at Guelph at 1.30 A.M. I got to bed about 4 A.M. & at 7 A.M. had to get stock ready to go to the show we showed cattle in afternoon got 1st & 2nd in Calf. 3rd on Yearling. 2nd & 3rd on Two Year old and 3rd on Cow 2nd on Carcase of Steer |
