Thursday 18 th <s>f</s>wet we chored & I went for meat in morning and then went up to Tom's and castrated three rams and cut all lambs tails. he offers to take cows and raise calves at S1/2cper lb. if under 900 lbs at 1 yr old & 6 c {xx on close left margin} if over that. bred Quince to Baron M c Eachem {in tiny script:} {Sorbys imp 4 yim old?}

Friday 19 th fair we did Chores Father disced & Jimmie finished laying Kitchen floor I went te town got Quince shod. 25 c <s>got</s> Took back 25 pd lumber and got some other pieces. 15 c hair cut 20 c {20 and 15 on right margin} {x on left margin} bred E.P. Mayflower 4 th to Lord val.
