3 Wensday 19th fine We hauled 3 loads hay and cut & kiled the bal of large field near McDougalls
7 Thursday 20th fine We Cut half of last field and hauled 7 lds and kiled the balance. Worked Cartage horse 1/2 day I went to Tom's with Queen and bgt his roan cow for $4000 he paid for Queen now and he is responsible for her in Every way Except that She is guaranteed in foal x
17 Friday 21st fine/td> WE hauled 17 lds hay and finished cutting had J. Dickson from the College Yesterday and today helping with the hay, and Fred Hastings this Afternoon at 100 per day

Saturday 22nd fine We hauled 12 loads hay & raked most of the stubble recd 2.00 from Hastings for cows to bull. and pd Fred Black $100 for Yesterday afternoon worked Morris horse all day
